after all the critics since his announcement of his docu series he did not learn and changed his way of communicating? Is he sleeping all day long?

middle of march he said on nicole's live "the next months will be very exciting" ok, now its almost 3 month later lol .... and what about his announced website? and his new way of "transparency"?

he really makes me sick.

It’s been 5 years since LN. While the doc could still theoretically be completed the effectiveness and cultural impact have greatly diminished.

I actually think the time is not right yet, not for a documentary and not even the biopic.. Soon yes, but not yet. Better to do it perfectt and blast every untruth out of the way for all eternity

We have a whole nother year for the Biopic, so after 15 years of MJ being gone, who knows how things will proceed. A lot can change and is changing.
 
Taj had his chance and blew it. I think he shouldn’t be within spitting distance of a pro-innocence documentary in the first place, but his continued refusal to do/say anything to give donors confidence that he’s fulfilling his end of the bargain makes him look like a scammer.

Like, we’re five years out from LN, and this doc has been in the works since then. Where are we? Is it completed and in the editing stage? Are we still doing interviews? Is there an estimated release window? Valid and sensible questions, and he doesn’t/won’t answer any of them. If he wasn’t MJ’s nephew, every single user here would be calling him out and telling people to demand their money back.

NOONE denies that! NOONE. so?? he still makes promisses and doesnt keep them... after 5 years! then why does he speak AT ALL? just keep quiet and say "hey friends, i am sorry, i cannot talk details. i am producing, we are 50% through, thats all i can say". Instead he acts like "the next months will be so exciting! i will be more transparent! my website will go online soon!" but then nothing happens.

i actually start thinking that he harms Michaels reputation more than he helps it.

nobody is asking for details or top insider secrets. But 1. DONT LIE, 2. satisfy the 250+k donations
 
Note also that the topic of Taj Jackson's rebuttal documentary is controversial and touchy.

His documentary refers to the child sexual scandals of Michael Jackson, who was a man who has been accused of child sexual abuse several times.

In this case, even if you complete the documentary, it can be very difficult later to find distribution partners that are willing to release it on certain networks and streaming services.
 
The right time for the documentary would have been just after LN. The biopic could make it unnecessary.

I just wanna remind everyone how weird I find it that we fans have to fund 1 million… the jackson family (janet alone) could throw a million for the production. Obviously MJ is not important enough to them unless they earn big with him.

I’ve never liked the Jackson family. Their entire existence revolved around leeching off of MJ’s success and acclaim. Hence why I don’t want any of them in charge of his estate.
 
they don't fight for michael, they don't defend him publicly, they don't give the money to taj... instead they let the fans pay LOL

it is so embarrassing and sad.

they don't even have the balls to call out oprah LOUD AND CLEAR in public. and i don't talk about taj and brandy... sorry but nobody cares what they say. but why don't paris, prince, janet, katherine call her out???

the whole situation is a mess and all the jacksons only think of themselves, their career, their money.
 
in a few weeks taj will announce another LIVE with "a lot to talk about" and then he says nothing but "in that way" with zero information.
 
Janet already made her documentary. I don't think she cared about making that one, let alone this other stuff. But IMO.

Its a little unfair to say the family don't care about Michael, when they were literally there with him, in actual COURT. Responding to any and every bad piece of press or comment is, silly.... And also what Taj is busy doing instead of making a documentary.

The truth is, the biopic matters more than this flick. And so does a successful court case. Sue Taj later, if the Kickstarter truly leads to nothing.

But MJ was a cashcow for them. Of course they were there for him when he was alive..

Not sure where the monetary value is in supporting him in court...

Just feels like saying something spiteful regardless of the logic.

We already saw LaToya try to turn on MJ, no reason to say it's monetary that she feels otherwise. Does greed really work like that, like a compulsory addiction? Really.
 
i am not even blaming taj for not having released his docu series (after 5 years)! but the lack of communication is very contra-productive! to say it in a nice way. i understand the complexity of it and the timing and so on but:

- why did he promise more transparency for this year?
- when the website is coming which he talked proudly about a few months ago?
- he even promissed a press release a while back which never happened!

Dont try to fake-defend him. We all have the right to critizise him for his problematic communication and I am not demanding detailed information. But if he told us now that he didnt even start with the docu series and it wont happen no more we should not be surprised because he never proved the oposite (with 250k+ in hand from all of us + 5 years in).

what did we get so far? Lots of chit chats with nicole and other a§§ kissers, empty promisses and empty words.

it is a shame! I am sure you read this Taj. But with all due respect, do you ever reflect and learn from your mistakes?

Not gonna disagree. To be real, though, it's mostly Jermaine, and Randy. Jackie is more measured, Tito and Marlon are pretty unproblematic. Joe was the worst of it, but he's dead now.

The kids and MJs mom, that's another story entirely.

Very fair. And I should’ve emphasized that Katherine and MJ’s kids are as anti-exploitative as it gets. Everything they do is clearly in honor of the man.

I've already made my opinions on this clear, so I'll just say I agree with you. If this was any other crowdfunding project people would not be happy with how this has been handled and any complaints would be very justified, it seems just because it's Taj some are fine with what he's been doing and make excuses. I don't think Taj is trying to scam anyone, he's just handling this horribly, even after saying he was going to improve things.
