Nintendo Switch 2

Yooka Replaylee being only 30fps is pretty ridiculous lol. Getting kinda tired of these type of compromised ports being released tbh.

Resident Evil Requiem port looks pretty impressive tbh. Of course it's just one area of the game but it is running quite smoothly and looks pretty good. It seems Switch 2's Ray Tracing support is really coming in handy when it comes to these newer games being ported over.

Samus acquires a motorbike called the Vi-O-La, equipped with advanced features.
This vehicle was invented by the Lamorn, a space race that once existed on Viewros. Riding the Vi-O-La allows for swift travel across the vast expanses of the unknown planet Viewros. In addition, special actions can be used while riding to combat enemies and destroy ores scattered across the surface, allowing you to explore uncharted territory.
  • Boost: Temporarily boosts your speed, knocking enemies back or shattering ore.
  • Power Slide: Sliding Vi-O-La sideways while boosting, known as a “Power Slide,” will send enemies, ore, and other targets flying.
  • Projectile: Fire a projectile that tracks your target. The projectile can lock on to up to five enemies at once, attacking them and then returning like a boomerang.
Summon Vi-O-La at any time within the available area. Dismounting Vi-O-La will return you to Samus’ perspective and resume your exploration.
To return alive from the unknown planet to which she was transported, Samus will use her newly acquired “psychic abilities” and Vi-O-La to clear her way.

Hopefully they can get that performance patch for Switch 2 out soon. Switch 2 is the perfect platform for this type of game and it's a shame they rushed the port out.

I would recommend this channel to anyone looking for sales on the eshop. They also have this series about games that perform better on Switch 2, and a series called All Patched Up where they look back at games released and any notable changes introduced by patches. Pretty good channel all in all.

Anybody playing Silksong? Definitely gets more difficult as you get into it. I was wondering why people were saying it's much harder than Hollow Knight but now I'm feeling it. lol.

Yeah it definitely gets harder the more you progress. I finished it a few weeks ago, absolutely loved that game, but didn’t do post-game yet. There are still other games I needed to play so I kinda left it on the back burner. Recently finished Alan Wake and now starting Alan Wake 2.
