"Michael", a biopic about Michael Jackson, is officially happening.

Wait, where can I find her post?
Shoot that sounds awful, I want to know what she said but I’m terrified to read it.
I wouldn’t. It applies to bodies after thorough autopsy in general, so if you’re interested in that kind of thing it’s at your own risk

Karen is not perfect. There are things she's weird about. But she never really sought money. She's just very candid and likes to share stories.
I saw a thread exposing her and mostly it was "she was mean to this person and now she says this person is fine!" Um that is called growing up. They are too harsh on her over nothing. Some of it is the difference between boomer and Gen z sensibilities, I fear, and some it's just fans having this concept in stone for MJ and not accepting those who knew him shattering it. The same goes for Paris. Paris, his own daughter.
You are allowed to criticize them but a lot of fans don't know the word limit. They need to learn how to pick battles.

I have no respect for people who use MJ for clout and she is no exempt. i don't care what kind of parasocial relationship older fans have developed with her in the process. She posted private photos of Michael and details of his autopsy with no respect of him or of his family members.

LaToya wrote the same details on her book...

Karen is not his sister, nor she had the same importance in Michael's life like LaToya.
If she was called to help out with such a thing, I don't see what's the outrage having her share her experience...

Personally I wouldn't share it and would abide by what you said. But who are we to tell Karen what to say or not to say? It's her experience

One thing I will say about Karen is the abuse she receives from fans is completely unacceptable.

This is someone who Michael spent a large portion of his life working with and is very much in the know . Some fans think they know more than her and the stuff she posts is bullshit.

She at least tells it as it is, unlike how this movie will portray him.
The same online community that comes after his daughter? Surely not.

There will be one movie , I’m certain of that. A second half full of child abuse allegations , weird behaviour and further turmoil will be a hard sell to the audience.
Why would the second half be full of child abuse allegations and weird behaviour? It's gonna be Dangerous, the very socially-conscious History, the birth of his children, etc. They're not gonna turn the second part into a Dan Reed movie... There's gonna be turmoil, yes, but they're going to balance it with positivity. And people love drama, so I don't think it's gonna be a hard sell. Biopics about people who went through a lot of hardship are generally more interesting than the biopics of those who had a happy, uneventful life.

The 2005 case everyone knows about as it was played out in public , MJ got an not guilty verdict but the 93 case is where everything started to go wrong.
Not everybody was born or old enough to know what happened in 2005. And outside of fans, most people just know that he was found not guilty, but they don't know why because they haven't read the trial transcripts. Many think he just got away because sexual abuse allegations are hard to prove. So it would be good to put the facts out there about the Arvizos and how they kept getting caught in their lies.

heavy on this! the way i see some fans talk about MJ in his later years makes me wonder if they even like the man at all.

let’s wait and see if Jaafar can act first of all 👍

No offence but that type of statement is a bit rich coming from someone who’s initial few posts as a new member were to highlight that Paris hates her father.

MJ in his later years was a broken man, that’s a fact and his life was extremely chaotic. The man was mentally unwell due to everything going on in his life.

We wouldn’t be here if we never loved the man, sometimes though it is ok to question his actions , he was a human who did make mistakes.

She also has done questionable things like working for Gloria allred. Talking shit about every woman Michael liked because she's jealous and doing a horrid job on his makeup. She's responsible for many of the unflattering pics of him.

Plus her behavior during the this is it era before MJs death is also eyebrow raising.

I'd say those emails presented during the trial were a bit more than that

His early years were not really any easier, we'll have plenty of drama in part one too (Joseph's abuse, vitiligo and lupus, Pepsi commercial burns, etc) There was a lot of hardship in his last years, but it wasn't all gloom and doom either, I also remember some great moments of happiness, and I don't think Michael would call himself "broken" in those moments.

My thoughts too , checked out that YouTube channel and it’s full of absolute garbage.

It’s made up crap , who the fck is motif anyway, are we supposed to know who this motherfucker is?
Literally Garbage

If you're saying I made up all of the songs I've posted recently, then I'm afraid you are mistaken.

We all have our opinions 😊

To be clear, I don't disagree that there were certain moments that broke him (like the trial and the pressure he was under during This Is It), but I think the biopic can find a balance between the good and the bad, even during his last years. I hope they will show that between those hard times, Michael was still as funny and fun-loving as he was when he was younger, even after everything he'd been through, and despite the pain he was still feeling (as we heard clearly on the Conrad Murray tape).

i fail to see how my earlier posts on this site have anything to do with some fans relegating late years MJ to little more than CSA allegations and mental unwellness

I mean if we say from 2001 onwards , do you think MJ was having a great time in life?
From what I've seen in video footage of him and based on the funny stories shared by his children and friends, yes, outside of dark times (like the trial), he also had many fun, happy moments. He still enjoyed a good water balloon fight or playing pranks and goofing around. He still had ideas for projects and dreams for the future.

I'm not sure why MJ's last years always get singled out as being the worse years for him, when really he's been going through hardships his whole life. I remember MJ talking about how sad and frightened he was during his childhood and teenage years. I remember that sad, heartbreaking letter Michael wrote to the media during the Bad tour, a period that many fans view as the happiest time, because it was a happy time for them. But clearly Michael was suffering a lot even back then. The difference is that we didn't know about it, because it all happened behind closed doors, whereas his last years played out in public for all to see. People saw MJ on top of the world during the Thriller era, such a happy time, not realizing he was privately dealing with vitiligo, lupus and painful scalp surgeries. Next time you watch the Victory tour, take a moment to remember that Michael had been severely burned just before that and how hard it must have been for him to go through that tour, pretending that everything was alright. So in a way, his last years are not really different from his early years, just more of the same: MJ going through a lot of hard times, and trying to be as resilient as he could.
