Hi! If you don't like this post, please tell me why, I SUCK at social stuff, but I LOVE Michael Jackson.
Is there stuff to say to haters/gullible people to try to get them to understand that he's innocent/didn't want to be white/etc.?
Things that don't let them dismiss you as a lovesick fangirl?
Things that are compeletely fact-based and also make people consider it, instead of just the classic "Idk I just feel like he ____?
I AM IN DESPERATE NEED OF THIS. I really don't know what to say to people who are on the brink of thinking he's innocent but going with the flow of their friends.
Please help!

I feel the same way...but it's still not nice when someone says that stuff. Luckily it rarely happens. When someone finds out I'm an fan, the response is always positive. only once since Leaving Neverland has someone mentioned it. I just said that he had been proven innocent in court, and they insisted he paid his way out of it...lol...I didn't respond to this ignorance, I just ignored it
It's not easy, I completely agree with you. It hurts even. But trying to persuade someone who has already made up their mind is just a waste of time and energy. I'd rather spend that energy for something way better.

The MJCast on Youtube has a huge list of resources in their description, have you investigated these?

There's also a flourishing academic circle known as Michael Jackson Studies focused on his music, the nature of musical prodigies and many other aspects of Michael. I get a lot of comfort from reading these books and articles, many available online through ProQuest. Check out your local library for access.

Right now I'm reading:
"Michael Jackson's Dangerous" by Susan Fast

"The Dangerous Philosophies of Michael Jackson: His Music, His Persona, and His Artistic Afterlife" by Elizabeth Amisu

"Humanitarian: The Real Michael Jackson" by Paul Dwyer
(I had to order this from Amazon. Paul also made a documentary with the same title, it's on Youtube, and he has a podcast where he interviews people who experienced Michael's kindness first-hand.)

My advice would be, immerse yourself in learning how special Michael really was in the opinion of many experts. It will help you remember, You are not alone - far from it. And then there's no need to worry what the uneducated think.

ooh I should say "hold on, have you made up your mind about him?" and catch them off guard and if they says yes don't waste the energy but if they say no... I see an opening for truth!

One thing mentioned by Michael's bodyguard:
The Jacksons were a family of 13 people living in a house that had only 3 rooms.

Michael grew up in constant close contact with his brothers and sisters. They slept together out of necessity and he would simply have assumed all families did the same (and many do).

This is the real reason he could never understand people's dirty minds. In many ways he was shaped by this early experience of poverty and love (his mother's) together.

He probably had never heard of pedophilia until the day he was accused of it. He was completely isolated from anything like that.

Of course he knew what pedophilia was. Michael may have been very innocent, but he never was ignorant. In 1986, he recorded the song "Do You Know Where Your Children Are" about a 12-year-old girl who ends up in prostitution after she runs away from home because she was sexually abused by her stepfather. Also, Taj said Michael supported him and his mother when he was sexually abused when he was around 9 or 10, so that would have been around 1982 or 1983.
