Latest on MJJC

"Michael", a biopic about Michael Jackson, is officially happening.

I had to change the day when I was going to watch it, I've just bought tickets for next Saturday. 🙌
 
I probably wrote it before, but the second movie will probably be pretty depressing. It certainly won't be uplifting. It may be written more like a drama.
 
Part 2 will be at least 2 years away imo.

I also think by all accounts it's quite interesting how dark the first movie was going to be. Seems like a lot of people are looking forward to the celebration aspect, so I think it's worked out for the best we get both sides of the coin.

Everyone always said MJs life was too much for one film anyway.

Part 2 should be next year, but if they are only in early development and can not reuse most of the footage that was scrapped there is no way it will be ready to 'deliver more Michael soon after'.
Producer/director called the rewrite a blessing in disguise, hopefully it is in the end.

If they can show more than his personal feelings toward the situation, part 2 could open with the neverland raid like part 1 apparently was supposed to, than flashback to more bad era, dangerous, raid, facts about all the accusations combined, then history/botdf, family, invincible, tii. Call the 2nd part Jackson.

I meant on this scale now! He thought he had lost the love of his fans at one point! I became a MJ fan since i was 15 before that i was a breaker! Im now 60 and miss him like mad. I remember what he used to have but to see so much again makes me happy but also sad.

This is not soltan. Soltan is Jermaine's grandson who is much older than this baby.

Well I am planning to see the movie in english, after seeing it in german at first next week. I think the whole movie is more authentic in its original language. I am happy that cinemas here also offer the english version.

(Hatte ebenfalls mit dem Gedanken gespielt, Stromberg zu sehen, aber als mir meine Arbeitskollegin enttäuscht davon abgeraten hat, ließ ich das dann bleiben).
