Becuase of the overwhelming amount of Spam we need to hard delete these posts. I have always done this for spam post any way becuase thet clutter the forums and we end up having to anyway to see the forest for the trees.
i have hard deleted 100's spam post in general forum
Easiest and best way to ban and completly deleted them all at once i
when you see them in mod que or on the board , go to the forum they are being posted in
Then top right of forum click [inline mod]
select unaproved posts (this will highlight all of them)
if they have already been soft deleted , Select Deleted posts
Then scroll down to bottom right side of the forum
click [moderation tools]
Select 'Delete Threads as Spam' this will ban and delete all posts
check the box "physically remove' instead of soft delete
enter reason SPAM
select Ban these members
Proceed
You will then see the ban box to perm ban all the the spammers
This way you can permanent remove Spam Posts/Threads and Ban all of the spammers at once
This option is for Sr Mods andf admins only
