^this is Bottrell's 1988 mix.

The final (MJ&Q) mix hasn't leaked in HQ yet.
there is a final mix? didn't know this.
I thought the version from Bad 2001 was the one to be included, before it was replaced by APOM

Oof, what the hell is that 1987 mix?!

I think if you had the 86 verses and the 88 chorus it would sound like it was supposed to be on Bad.

88 has the cool guitar part in the middle to make it sound a bit different. But then 86 has a better vocal take. Maybe 88 has a better ending. I can't decide.

Assuming that the Western Mix could be real, I will add it to the poll.

I didn’t know there was a difference between the 2001 special edition - and the 2012 Bad25 version??
What are the differences?

And what’s the supposed difference between the 87 mix & the s. c. „Alternate Western Mix“?
As I thought the 87 mix was the one with the western intro?

I like that the Western/87 mix doesn't sound as technical as the 88 mix. I also think you can hear Michael's voice better in the Western/87 mix.

Bill Bottrell‘s Mix to me is the best version of the song. It’s the most progressive/timeless sounding & the least gimmicky.
I do love that we now supposedly have all three versions.
But the 2001 officially released one is also the most professional sounding, plus the one with the better vocal take.

The 88 mix sounds the most modern and has the most punch.
The 86 mix is the fastest. All three have something special.

latest leak is definitely a gem. but i don't like the BJ beat on it.
released version is polished and slaps harder.

I’ve often wondered if “Streetwalker” was initially intended to be the “Billie Jean” of the Bad album- it’s a strong, bass-driven song with a beat interpolated from Hall & Oates.

Objectively speaking, MJ's voice sounds like crap in that new "leak", the horrible quality in the vocal take is the entire reason people are debating wether it's real or not in the first place. So I wouldn't say that you can hear MJ better there

The Bottrell '88 Mix does let you hear MJ's voice better though lol

I think I need to clean my ears thoroughly.

I thought Song Groove was to be the BJ of Bad.

1987 mix and Western Mix have the most votes together. Does this mean that people like the Western Mix best of all the Streetwalker versions?
