I’m guessing Michael may have done a performance with Janet in the 1970s on TV - not sure of any collaboration in the 1980s. Am not sure if Janet appeared on the song “2300 Jackson Street” with Michael and the family?

there was a planned duet for dangerous bryan made an instrumental for that never came to be. this lines up with janet saying she didnt want to do the collab when mj reached out to her. why? her janet. album was about being successful regardless of her family, and especially her superstar brother (thats why she had an interview rule at the time where they werent allowed to mention him). she capitulated with scream 4-5 years after the initial 89-90 proposal
