Sony has officially provided figures for every album on their website recently other than History which claimed a figure of 21 million per booklet as of 2009, however MJVibe and various other sites cite a figure of 30 million today.

History has yet to recieve a official update since 2009 but MJ Vibe has it at 30 million.
HIStory sold over 391,000 copies in its first week! To date, the album has sold over 30 million copies worldwide and is the best selling multiple-disc release making it one of the best-selling albums of all time
 
Guys, Sony are NOT the official source of sales data. (1) it's in their interests to lie, and we know they have done this, and (2) They don't actually know how many copies each album sold.

Sony just distribute the album to stores. They don't know how many copies are still sitting on shelves, or how many ended up in landfill.

The stores are the only people that can tell you how many albums were sold to the public.
