Sony has officially provided figures for every album on their website recently other than History which claimed a figure of 21 million per booklet as of 2009, however MJVibe and various other sites cite a figure of 30 million today.

Guys, Sony are NOT the official source of sales data. (1) it's in their interests to lie, and we know they have done this, and (2) They don't actually know how many copies each album sold.

Sony just distribute the album to stores. They don't know how many copies are still sitting on shelves, or how many ended up in landfill.

The stores are the only people that can tell you how many albums were sold to the public.
