The other brad sundberg(sp?) said that Buxer was claiming this at a meetup he did with fans. I don't have an actual video of buxer saying this, but the fans who attended the meetup simply reported what was said so I have no reason to doubt it.

So it's just hearsay. Nothing on the record. The story is already confusing enough without adding 'Brad said Brad said something' and/or 'the fans said Brad said something'.
 
It's like someone cooking a full meal and then someone else coming along, adding salt and pepper to the meal and claiming helped they co-create that meal when all they did was add some flavour to it.
