In the past I used to own the album "Synapse Gap (Mundo Total)" by Joe "King" Carrasco And The Crowns featuring vocals by Michael Jackson on track 3 "Don't Let A Woman (Make A Fool Out Of You)". ( https://www.discogs.com/master/305010-Joe-King-Carrasco-And-The-Crowns-Synapse-Gap-Mundo-Total )

Warning: I know that there mixes/versions of the song where MJ is not heard at all, I am NOT talking about these mixes, only mix(es) including MJ.

In my memories, Michael could be clearly heard singing the choruses.
Recently I bought the CD "Anthology" which has that song. Surprise, I found MJ's voice buried under the band's singer's voice. (Then I thought that for some reason they had to cover Michael's voice...)
I randomly bought a 7'' promo of the song, same mix ... I started to think that this mix was a specific 7'' mix.
So I bought a new copy of the 12'' album ... and ... same mix.

I was convinced that I had an old rip of the album of that other album version ... but I actually don't find it back... so maybe I had not saved it in archives.

Somebody who I show what I thought was the original album mix using a YouTube link told me that that version were fan-edited.

So, are there different mixes involving Michael?
Are those YouTube versions fan-edited? And did my brain build up a memory of a different album version where MJ can be clearly heard? :)
If not, how to identify a record with that other mix?

(Second thing ... all versions I currently have are 3:33 long... (I have not ripped/tested that 12'' album I just got)... seem like there are at least two versions though: 7'': 3:25 and album: 3:49 )

Update: I have now ripped the supposedly 3:49 version (according to label and Discogs) from the album I currently own. Surprise! It's approximately 3:30.
Which makes me wonder even more if there has been a version switch on some records without changing the labels... but may be it's just extrapolation.

Someone on another MJ forum claims that this mix I was thinking is a mix that they made 10 years ago... so it looks like my brain built up memories. And that this video is a re-upload of it:
