Uggggh, David Letterman.

Drug addict, Skeleton, Junkie, America's excessive mourning, Making fun of memorial, making fun of Stevie Wonder's speech, questioning why God would need him, etc... I can't even expand beyond that. Just ugly, disrespectful, and low low low. I'm still fuming. I wasn't even watching it. My roommates in the other room were. I just heard "Michael Jackson" and it caught my ear and attention. I wish it hadn't. I avoid "comedians" at all costs because inevitably they'll make an MJ joke and, in turn, I'll wanna spit nails. Anyway, Is there anything we can do? We should let them know they offended, hurt and pissed a lot of people off.
 
Are you sure it was Letterman? I watch him almost every night and I don't recall him making jokes about MJ? Was your friend talking about Leno maybe?

i think you're right. i watch letterman all the time and the only time he's mentioned michael recently was fondly - a story about letterman being an extra on the jacksons variety show and he was awed by him being "just a kid" off stage but huge on stage.

and i am 99% certain dave didn't make trail jokes in 2005, not like jay leno. not even close.
 
Nope, 100% sure it was Letterman. I heard him from my room and I remember thinking "Wth? Him too?!" This was the first time I'd ever heard anything even remotely close to that from him. I always chose Dave over Leno because Leno was such an ass to Michael on his show, so I was very disappointed to hear Dave jumping on that wagon too. He wasn't "trashing" him, per se, just making really really really offensive "jokes". Not cool.
 
Wow, I just can't believe this was Letterman. I watch him all the time and I have only seen him do one joke regarding Michael and he didn't even mention him outright (it was something about crazy doctors and their pop star patients but I can't remember it in detail).
 
I watch Dave all the time too and havent seen him trashing MJ, not even recently. It must have been Leno as he still does it all the time. He is not a nice man.
 
Either leno or kimmel cus letterman would know better and especially since he cheated on his partner regina lasko.
