Did Michael have his own private plane or he used public airlines?

I was watching videos of Michael at various airports around the world (on tours, travelling with his kids, etc) and I was wondering if Michael had his own private airplane/ jet to get around (like Elvis Presley?).

He never needed to have a jet, he could fly on his own

I think he probably did ...assuming he would have then.

He flew both commercial and private jets (chartered), whatever suited best.

Source? The book above is from Michael Bush.

It's interesting, because I would think how on earth would he be able to get to a commercial plane without shutting the airport down, but I believe Bush, of course. Maybe that was where the many disguises were used. Imagine being on a plane with him without knowing 😅

Yeah I think so too, didn't he say in an interview that he wrote a song while he was on concorde? and then put his vocal on tape.

I'm surprised. Hearing him talk about how he couldn't go grocery shopping or walk in a park where people would go crazy and throw themselves at him, he's already mentioned feeling isolated from experiencing his mundane everyday activities. So, taking a regular plane? I'm surprised.

Or maybe I misunderstood, who knows! 😅

During the HIStory Tour, Michael Jackson used to fly with an airplane which was given to him by Al Waleed bin Talal Al Saud.

The airplane had the 'Kingdom Entertainment' logo on it, and it was part of the 'Kingdom Entertainment' 1996 new venture between Michael Jackson and Al Waleed bin Talal Al Saud.

I’d imagine if needed he could fly private all the time, mostly we see him on private jets when on tour or attending important meetings otherwise he would fly Concorde or normal commercial.

As a nervous flyer myself and someone who needs medication, I often wonder how he felt flying all the time and around the world when on tour , multiple flights a week.

Well, Michael Bush says so, everyone else here says different things, so I am confused 😅. Doesn't really matter in the end, only interesting thing (to me) would be how he managed to get on a commercial airplane.

I never heard that he had his very own plane.
But he definitely chartered planes from time to time.

And he didn’t enjoy flying. I remember he rent the orient express for parts of the dangerous tour, for that reason.

It's hard to track down the exact date that he bought his plane (jet), but he had it through the Victory tour. He flew in that instead of flew separately from his brothers. Of course there is the Kingdom Entertainment plane that we cannot say if he legally owned or not.

We do have many photos of him travelling on a private aka business jet.
Since he most likely flew first class, not too many other than the staff would take notice anyway (on commercial flights).

AFAWK Michael was quite nervous of flying. Dieter Wiesner, not sure how credible, mentions a scary incident flying to Frankfurt/GER in his book.

Yeah, it's well documented that he flew on Concorde, too. I watched a documentary not too long ago about this airplane, and they mentioned him, among other celebrities, who were regulars.

I found the interview where he said he wrote a song in a concorde
