Hello to everybody,
as I'm a new member in this forum, I'm gonna introduce myself in a few sentences.
Well, I'm 26 and I'm from Germany. I wouldn't say I was a fan of Michael in the sense of always knowing what he was up to or buying everything that was released but I've been interested in him as a person for many years and informed myself by avoiding the tabloid press.
Still I would have never expected how much his death would emotionally affect me. Probably because I never expected something like that to happen in a foreseeable time.
I remember, when I switched on the TV some years ago to find out how the trial worked out, I was reliefed that he was found innocent by the law and I thought "Hopefully he will spend many happy years now with his children and recover from the hard time he had to go through". I'm so sad that he only had a few years left from then.
However, I'm glad to be a part of this community now because here are people who really care for Michael. The more the media write or broadcast about him, now that they've realised, how much his passing affects people, but without publishing an apologize for what they did to him before, the more I get disgusted. As well as by those people who try to make money with his name now in other ways. It's just so false-faced.
