I was thinking this because the music video location where the Brazilian version of “They Don’t Care About Us” was filmed - is actually popular with fans and locals and is open to the public.

In my trip to Paris in 2023, I visited the Eiffel Tower (Michael went there with his kids in 2006) and Disneyland Paris (Michael had visited there several times and was extensively photographed).

Omg no way!!!! I went to Paris last month and also to the Eiffel Tower and I didn’t know he was there!! Also I have been in the store that he was filmed in 2003 in that Bashir interview in Las Vegas. They have a tv monogram of them missing their friend Michael in that store. I’ve also been to Neverland so does that count ?

Yeah, sure - Neverland counts! What year did you go there?

And yes, Michael and his kids visited the Eiffel Tower during their stay in Europe. It was reportedly a private tour of the Eiffel Tower. I’ve been up the Tower and it’s amazing that Michael has been there, too. 😊

In 2016 I went to Gary Indiana, so that I could visit the house he grew up in. I also made a big list of other key locations - the school, their first concert, etc.

I used to live in Paris in 1998, and did all the tourist stuff. MJ didn't cross my mind once.

I lived in Stirling and went to the McDonald's where MJ got food. Does that count?

I've been to the thriller location.
I've been at his Hollywood star

Probably more places but I can't think that hard this early

Hi, I remember going to the little church where he got married twice. When the guide told me, I was happy. As soon as I got outside, I started singing, "You're not alone."
 
Eiffel Tower, Disneyland Paris, walked past Hotel Adlon (Berlin) and stayed at Hotel Bayerischer Hof (Munich, where the memorial is), Madame Tussauds (London).

But only the Madame Tussauds visit was specifically because of Michael, all the others just regular holidays/coincidences :giggle: .

I‘m sorry to bust that myth, but it’s not true.

Myth: Michael Jackson married his first wife, Lisa Marie Presley , in the Altos de Chavon church in 1994.

This story is told by tour guides as they lead tourists around Altos de Chavon.

Truth: Michael Jackson did NOT get married in the Altos de Chavon church, Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie Presley stayed at Casa de Campo during their trip to the Dominican Republic to get married. The civil wedding ceremony actually took place in the town of La Vega (nestled in the valley of the same name in the Cibao region located in the heart of the island). The ceremony took place at the house of the acting justice of peace, Hugo Alvarez.
