I looked and looked for an Introductory thread but could not find one. I am new here on this board, but not new to MJ by any means. I am 44 years old and have been a fan since I was a small girl of all of the Jacksons. To say that I am heartbroken over Michael's passing is an understatement. He was so wonderful and talented and the void he has left is huge. I just cannot seem to wrap my head around it. There is this sadness that I just cannot seem to shake. I know in time it will be better, but from watching the news and all that I am hearing, I am just sick over everything that is being said, and even more sad that no one stepped in to stop all the madness. But we are here in this moment and we have lost one of the most talented individuals the world will ever know. Ok I am done ranting now. Nice to be here

welcome, I know exacly how you must have felt trust me I felt it too, granted you've been a fan for way longer than me, Im only 14 but MJ was my world and I was so devestated by his death I had to take the day off school, I wasn't in the right state of mind.
Now I know MJ is in a better place Im kind of OK with it but I always had this dream of sharing the stage with MJ as he was the one who has inspired me to want to be a recorded artist, and shortly before his death I wrote my first song called "Why". It about loosing someone you loved, It was about a lover but I've desided to dedicate it to him.

I guess he is finally at peace away from all the Paps now... Like it says in his cover of the song smile "smile though your heart is aching"

Hi Deb I am also a newbie to this site but certainly not a newbie to loving MJ
some folks have put '' we loved him before he died'' .........................well so did I, for years and years...................decades since the 80's.
