Janet Jackson has a new Las Vegas residency

Last night (Dec 30) marked the beginning of Janet Jackson's newest Las Vegas residency, courtesy of AEG. Throughout the night, she honored her siblings Michael and Tito. A highlight was her performance of 'Dream Maker/Euphoria', a song penned about Michael on her 'Unbreakable' album. Additionally, 'Jam' was incorporated into 'The Knowledge'. Fedoras donned by the dancers served as a tribute to Tito. The evening was made even more special by the presence of Miss Katherine, the Jackson family matriarch.

 
She seems to be in good shape. She has lost a lot of weight and seems to be in much better shape than she was at concerts a few month ago.
The irony is that AEG is the concert promoter, who was sued by mother Kathrine for Michael's death (supported by Kathrine, Rebbie and Randy) and now she is sitting in the audience.

Well Randy is Janet's manager which confuses the heck out of me as to why he would negotiate a deal with AEG for this residency. She don't need the money.

It's not a short amount of time, she's been on tour almost all of 2023 & 2024. When she's not touring she's working out with her trainer.

Do we remember when Michael was on stage sweating and losing weight every night. Janet was working a brutal summer tour this past year where she's wearing double layers in 90 degree outdoor venues.

Why wear all those layers, she was probably not happy with her body, I think she looks good don't get me wrong she clearly is happy now with less layers

She wears several layers of costumes and then takes off various layers as she moves into a different song.

She addressed this in an interview last summer. She's much more at peace with her body shape than when she was younger which is often how it goes.
