Let's make it clear. Which MJ's credits on Invincible songs are authentic?

'Unbreakable' is basically a pop version of the 'Unbelievable' song.

American producer DJ Premier was the guy who created the 'Unbelievable' song.

DJ Premier seems to be connected also with Rodney Jerkins (who created the 'Unbreakable' song).

Note that Michael Jackson himself announced to Sony Music (in the midst of the 'Invincible' album sessions) that he was about to leave them.

So, both parties are to blame for the lack of promotion of that album.

On the 'Invincible' album, Michael Jackson took many undue songwriting credits for himself, but he also allowed members of Rodney Jerkins' team to take many undue songwriting credits for themselves.
Wait a minute. If MJ got undue credits on RJ songs and RJ's team got undue credits too... Then who wrote Darkchild songs? šŸ˜‚ Only Rodney Jerkins? This is his solo writing?

According to Vogel's book, he told them he was going to leave after the album had already come out, which was what prompted Sony to end promo.

Sony also released the 2001 Special Editions around the time of Invincible. There was a decent promo campaign that tied the Special Editions in with the release of Invincible. I remember seeing adverts in magazines promoting Invincible and also advertising the Special Editions within the same advert that was an entire page of the magazine(s).

According to Taraborelli's book, MJ pissed Sony off when he released those special editions. Dunno whose idea it was, but releasing reissues of your old albums right when your new one's about to come out is stupid lol.

I thought those reissues were all part of a massive sort of blitz strategy campaign to bring MJ’s name back into the public consciousness and remind people of how good he was. Foil stamped slipcases with deluxe booklets. It must have cost the record label a lot of money to produce them. And then Invincible produced in 5 different colours as well.

Or show people, that Michael's previous albums were much much better comparing with nonsense, that is going to be released. It's obviously was part of sabotaging. The only questions is - by whom?

If Michael was sincerely honest about what he said, I guess it he meant his unreleased songs that he'd written and/or recorded in the past.
I would have been too happy if, that was what Mike meant, and made efforts to finish those songs and put it out on a couple of New Albums. But he was talking about everything, from Amusement parks in Poland, Kingdom Entertainment (with an Egomaniac Monarch), directing movies and TNOEA-Poe), and not about releasing new songs/Albums/Videos. The very thing he was loved and appreciated for.
