So for art class we were asked to think of a culture or period of time that had a great influence on the art world or the world itself. This was around the time MJ passed and all i could think of was him so I decided to do a Michael Jackson culture type of thing, seeing as he had quite a large influence on people and the world. So the idea of this is that I used something that I associate MJ with and that was peace. We always see pics of him struting his peace sign *V* and i wanted to illustrate the bridges he built between the different races, shown by the different shades of grey used, and I of course used the silver glove to show that he too is apart of the wonderful human race. The line "prejudice is ignorance" is a line that shows up after the long version of black and white and i believe i saw it on the long version of bad once not quite sure that was just my imagination though...anyway tell me what you guys think :)

i gotta make 2 pieces of work so hopefully my next one will be ready to show you guys :)
