MJ Ghosts VHS in Black and White?

I have the Ghosts Movie on VHS at Home, the Last Weekend i thought...hey cool lets watch the Retro Movie from MJ...so my Face was so :O The Movie was in Black and White...Is this normal? Did i have a Special One?

P.s.
Since I buy the Ghosts Box, i never watched the VHS.

The film is in black and white until they enter the hall. After that we are greeted with a gorgeous blue. If it is black or white from there on, no its not supposed to be.

Are you sure you are watching it on the correct system? An NTSC tape would come up as black and white on a PAL machine I think

I have the France Version of the VHS. Where can i Check which System (ntsc or pal) the vhs is?

PAL is generally European.

go to www.discogs.com and type the number on the barcode into the search bar

Also degraded tape or VCR may produce this result.

My Recorder has Problems with Secam...intresting

It's a mistake. Only the beginning should be black and white.
