Hello, all.
Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm 42, a wife, a mother (my daughter is 24) and a grandmother. I'm an online business owner, artist, and crafter. I was quite shocked when MJ passed--the world seems a different place knowing Michael is no longer in it. Doesn't seem right at all. I was never what you might call a "die-hard" fan, but I always loved his music, and always loved to watch when his new videos debuted. I followed his career and was always interested to see what he was up to. Was really anxious to see what magic he'd create at the London 02 concerts after all these years. So sad that he never got to do it.
I was just so saddened by his passing, and it renewed my interest in his music. I've been listening to it almost daily. I had gotten away from any music really the past several years. The last song I remember hearing of MJ's was You Rock My World. But I've been downloading my favorite songs at iTunes and making CD's of all my favorite MJ songs...collecting photos of him, and following the news about everything surrounding his life and death. I also pulled out my Thriller picture disc and hung it up in my home office, along with some other photos of Michael...to help me remember him in my favorite ways.
I was glad to find a couple of communities to join, to share all things about Michael, his life and his music. Looking forward to getting to know you.
