New HBO 1995 rehearsal clips?

Finally, the bridge for thriller live! It sounds great. But man oh man… This show just seemed too out there and not in a good way. No wonder he collapsed.

Controversially, I love the new takes on the songs. Iconic as they are, they were in need of some spicing up. Maybe not… to this degree, but I appreciate that they were trying something new.

Also, MJ was gonna sing “Thank You” by Sly Stone???? What a missed opportunity. We need the rehearsal footage.

In the description by mjbeatsbr who co-posted the video on IG with Lavelle Smith they say that he doesn't have access to the tapes in which MJ appears :

"The tapes of the rehearsals in which Michael himself appears were retained by him at the time (a common practice of MJ to protect his image and study his performance) and today are probably in the custody of the Estate."

I think he was going to keep it as a dance break but nice to see him showing love.

With the recent information that dropped about Jane is a Groupie along with his many covers, it's obvious Michael was fond of Sly

I would like to see them even without MJ. Its something that got cancelled so I think its more interesting here than in normal tour rehearsals. We still get some idea how the songs and choreography were different.

God, to think we missed out on MJ singing Thank You for the first time since 1970!
