Eddie Cascio, a lifelong friend of Michael Jackson stated that Michael Jackson recorded about 10 songs in the basement of his family home in 2007.
As the fans heard the first Cascio song which was streaming on the official website, called ''Breaking News'', they went crazy. There wasn't one person who wouldn't have doubted the authenticity of voice which was said to be 100% Michael Jackson.
People were really confused, but they hoped he sounds differend only on this song, but ironically the same voice also appeared on two other Cascio tracks called ''Keep Your Head Up'' and ''Monster'', which were as well as ''Breaking News'' released on album ''MICHAEL''.
The estate organised a "listening party" with six producers and engineers who had worked with Jackson, including Thriller's Bruce Swedien and Dangerous's Teddy Riley. They listened to a capella versions of all of the Cascio tracks under consideration, and "all confirmed" the lead vocal was "definitely Michael". Jackson's long-time vocal director, Dorian Holley, agreed, as did two forensic musicologists who used "objective scientific tests" to determine the songs were his.
Although they put some big words on paper to calm the fans down, the majority of us, the fans still don't believe the excuses they are making to hide the truth, which is obvious.
Even several members of Jackson family showed a serious concern over the Cascio tracks:
RANDY JACKSON: ''I heard the music and I immediately said it wasn't his voice. Sony has 250 mil reasons to convince the public that it is his voice, if you know what I mean.''
LATOYA JACKSON: ''I listened to it... It doesn't sound like him.''
JERMAINE JACKSON: ''Sony should have known you can't fool the family and our fans, we are against this 1000%.''
TARYLL JACKSON: ''I remember when Teddy and I were at Encore listening to KYHU. We both knew it wasn't my Uncle. He stopped working on it because (and I quote) "it didn't sound enough like Michael. Michael doesn't swing like that." He also said he was only working on the Cascio records in hopes that he would eventually be given a "real Michael Jackson song." As he knows, I never agreed with that logic. I'll never forget when Teddy called me telling me, "I'm so excited, I finally got a 'Michael record.' It's called Hollywood Tonight and it's him." They claim my uncle was so happy with the performance he instructed them to delete all the other files. I had the honor to learn and watch my uncle record my entire life and that is NOT how he worked. No outtakes, no other tracks, no backups, no proof. roughly 10 songs they turned in… same story for all of them. I asked for the computer it was created on... they said it broke. I asked for the original hard drive... they said it was destroyed. One dubious excuse after another.''
PLEASE STOP RELEASING CASCIO SONGS, BECAUSE YOU ARE DESTROYING THE FAN COMMUNITY AND MICHAEL JACKSON'S LEGACY.
