I haven't seen the documentary. Let me know if it's worth watching. I suspect that is not the case.

So I watched it.

If you are interested in watching it, block out 2 hours where you can be alone with your emotions as it's quite a rollercoaster ride of emotions.

I would say that the strength of the documentary is that it provides multiple perspectives, at times they conflict each other, so it's not just one singular narrative. However, there are some important details missed out here and there which was frustrating to watch as a fan. MJ is portrayed at times as a victim, and at other times as the perpetrator, again showing different narratives. The ending included a nice tribute to MJ from the memorial and this was tear jerking and brought the focus back on him as a person and his career.

I think there are things that are quite upsetting to watch as a fan, these include the Pepsi incident, video footage from 25 June, interviews by AK, CM and DR. Also AEG execs deposition was hard to take. I think the main thesis of the documentary was to show that CM was not solely responsible, and while many as fans will agree with this, it did appear he was not held accountable at all by the documentary (or himself) in an effort to address the larger issue of malpractice by doctors within the medical profession.

It is neither overly pro/anti MJ, so I would recommend it if you can stomach the difficult content.

why does tmz dig out this old docu again and pretends as if it was new??? its at least 2 years old and has been discussed here already.
Oh is it just the same documentary they released a few years ago? Did they add anything to it?

I wasn't aware they had released a version in 2022 untill Glanni's post. Although I couldn't find the 2022 version on YouTube, I did find a trailer of it and it did look like the same version.
