Where did MJ get the inspiration for Liberian Girl?

If the original song was called 'Pyramid Song' than it couldn't be about a vacation to Liberia..?
It was always called LG.

he talks about it in the video below (starting at 09:00 minutes)

"Pyramid Girl" was mentioned once in an article from early 1987. This could be just a mistake or there's indeed a song not related to LG.

What I'd give to be able to hear the 1983 demos of Dirty Diana, Liberian Girl, Dream Away, Chicago 1945, and to hear THE holy grail known as Buffalo Bill. With things like the Thriller video clips, the Peter Pan soundtrack, The Freddie Mercury duets, the Motown 25 performance... MJ had a fire in him in that year, sure as hell.
