I could imagine these in a real concert even though that probably wasn't the intention. I liked how he used the Dangerous Tour Heal the World jacket too:

Was the blue The Way You Make Me Feel shirt he used on June 23th an actual shirt for the shows? He seemed to wear it for that song only. He had Smooth Criminal jacket and hat then too.

Michael was looking back to his best in the rehearsals in quite a few ways. A lot of the outfits still look current now. He had a "classic, recognisable MJ but updated for the times" thing going on. I love it.

I don't have a photo, but I love the black military style jacket, gold pants, shades and fedora combo I've seen in some of the footage. That is peak Michael Jackson to me.
 
I just can't stop loving you jacket wasn't mine too thin he looked in there

I love the smart casual look of the first pic, but I would take any of these over the majority of what Zaldy had assaulted our eyes with.
 
I like this thread . I guess like others have mentioned it is the long black jacket with the gothic cross. Those orange jeans were also a thing.

(I also like the silky blue shirt when he was at C.A (fashion designer )!party. Those photos are great.!!!)

The absolute creame de le creame for me though,... was m's TII announcement outfit (black silk shirt) for the 02 concerts.
 
The rehearsals really prove, to me at least, that the curls made all the difference. Get those back and boom, he looks very similar to how he did in the 90s. Such a shame the This Is It era got cut short, he was cooking up a refined, modernised version of his classic style on every front.

Damn, this looks wicked!!!
Truth be told though, I am no fan of the golden trousers. If I had been him, I would have worn less glitter as glitter only distracts from his own beauty.
