You don't have to prove anything, just to make others believe you. I think he go on TV now to hope other gold diggers will come out and give his repressed memory a bit credit since his case most likely will throw away by the judge.

You have to in a court. You don't have to in front of the court of public opinion. Most people judge based on emotions and impressions not by carefully analyzing the background of an allegation. That's why so many people believe MJ was a child molester. They haven't studied the cases. They just saw headlines and soundbites in the media, like "he shared his bed with kids", "he made them drink Jesus Juice" etc. - and they base their full judgement on things like that. So if WR goes out there sobbing and crying about his alleged abuse, talking about what a monster this MJ was (something that many people already think anyway) - he will get sympathy no matter if his allegations are true or not.

Michael is dead. He only has his reputation and legacy. It does matter what the public thinks of him. So it has to be won in the court of public opinion as well as in real court.

I don't know how the rest of you feel but this is scaring me. Wish I could be positive but I feel sick just thinking about it and I'm a married man with 4 kids approaching 40 who just happens to be an mj and jacksons fan my whole life. Stood strong up to now but beginning to have doubts now. Just can't believe that someone like him would just make all this shit up and completely try to destroy MJs legacy. What am I missing?? Where are frank cascio, culkin, Barnes and others ? Why don't they bombard the media and defend mj if this is all bs. Cause this ain't like the other cases. This is someone who has a lot of friends in the industry and could garner massive support!!

I'm thinking Today show reaches to 5 Million people on average. It's the second most watched morning show in America. (GMA is number one with around 6 Million viewers) So Today show is a pretty decent show.

As for proof, you can file a lawsuit / complaint without proof. For example today I can go to court and say I was Michael's wife and he promised me the moon and France (obviously absurd claims). That lawsuit will get filed and at least get one hearing or ruling before being dismissed.

Then it would have to pass 2 steps to survive: first a demurrer - dismissal based on there's no legal basis for the complaint. For example Estate possibly arguing "the deadline to file a creditor claim has long passed" will be their demurrer. The judge will make a decision based on that. Obviously absurd lawsuits generally gets dismissed in this stage.

If it survives that then the contents become important. Discovery takes place. Later on you can ask for a summary judgment which is basically saying "they have no way of proving their claims" , parts or all of it can dismissed. anything that survives goes to trial.


Wade going to media is interesting because for several months the contents of the complaint would not be an issue at the court and the parts would argue on legal technicality - time to file a creditors claim. Interesting development.

I hear your anxiety @ the dude a few posts up... As a father as well... But you know what none of this actually bothers me. He is a WASTEMAN. A NOBODY trying to make a quick buck. I ain't surprised. It's sad and all but I just hope he gets his comeuppance.

Can anybody answer me this... IS IT CONFIRMED that BOTH WR & TMEZ are on the Today show tomorrow? If so I imagine they are not on together? What is TMEZ on for? Something unrelated??

do you mean he has not filed yet (that would be the "unfiled complaint' ) ? So he could be threatening to file a creditor's claim , and/or adjust its content according to the reactions he gets ?

To my knowledge, Tom is/was supposed to be on the Today Show today and Wade tomorrow. However, I didn't watch it today and don't know if Tom was on or when he will be.

But I have no idea if Wade's interview is confirmed. That's what I would like to know, though.

I don't know what he has filed or not. I was trying to say for several months the court will only focus on whether to allow a late claim or not - not the specific contents of the claim.

I did not have time to check the probate rules.

Court should not be paying attention to media and public opinion.

There's a system in place which works generally very well.

This judge is not a person to allow or deny a claim due to "public opinion". (so is every other judge). They are bound by the law and the rules.

Why are you scared? I can understand but look at the FACTS. Wade defended MJ for years. MJ is dead and there is money to be made. Why is it hard to believe someone would make up mess to ruin someone who is dead? When MJ was alive, Wade defended him for YEARS, now all of sudden, Wade wants to say this about MJ claiming REPRESSED MEMORY when Wade was always asked about these abuse claims even help Jermaine in his book. Come on now, the writing is on the wall. And I Think most people see through this nonsense.

And if Wade do interviews that will prove EVEN MORE Wade trying to use the public to get what he wants by trashing MJ. Again, Wade DEFENDED MJ even in court and even AFTER his death. No one with good sense is buying his nonsense.

So because the estate is in probate, even if the executors wanted to pay this wade to go away, they couldn't could they? They aren't allowed to settle a case out of court unless it has judge approval and therefore semi-public. The lawyer for wade knows this presumably, so what is their game in going to the court of public opinion in doing media interviews? It won't have an effect on forcing money from mj estate as the executors haven't got that power.

A man recovering from the trauma of suddenly dredging up 7yrs worth of memories of sexual abuse from his mentor/family friend/inspiration for his career, going on a busy morning news prog to talk about it is just bizarre. If it's not to force the executors to do something, then i see it like sneddon's casting call for victims at the 03 press conf, wade and his lawyer realise they need more victims to come forward to give his claim credence so that's why he's going public. I bet they'll be aware of the saville inquiry in the uk.

he will have to be very careful with this interview. It'll be live, and that leaves no room for slip ups. He will be caught on tape, and we'll be first in line to dissect his nonsense. Good luck with that, you scumbag....

Wade Robson is breaking his silence on the Michael Jackson sex abuse allegations ... and it sounds like he's about to drop a bombshell.

Robson surfaced at JFK this morning -- unsuccessfully trying to stay low-key in a hooded sweatshirt and sunglasses.

But when the paps recognized Robson, they immediately blasted the guy with questions about his accusation -- that MJ molested him when he was a kid.

TMZ broke the story ... Robson claims MJ was a monster who sexually abused him for years ... but he didn't take action sooner because he repressed the memories. The MJ estate says Robson's allegations are completely bogus.

Robson says he'll open up about the situation tomorrow.
