I am sick to my stomach hearing this and reading all of this. I am lost for words - speechless. CM cannot wait to hug his kid I hope when he is doing this he pictures Michael's children in his mind. How dare Wass say Michael would be pleased he is out - how dare she assume to know what MJ thinks. I do hope to God Katherine and the children have the strength to continue

Honestly....I am so sick and tired of INJUSTICE. I havent read anything about Murray last few months, I just cant. And the trial was a mess..too much stupid information. I feel like one era is just over and I feel like there is nothing to be done anymore. The system is f***** up, the society today is just sick.
There is no justice in this world and this is the last drop.

What a marvelous world we live in, where you can kill someone, show not even an ounce of remorse, and just two years later walk out of your prison cell, straight into the glare of the media spotlights, where you are welcomed with open arms. Sickening.

TMZ:

Conrad Murray has had money on his mind while he sat behind bars, and now that he's a free man again, he's using the power of the media to make a quick buck ... TMZ has learned.
Sources connected with the doc tell TMZ ... during his time in L.A. County Jail, Murray penned a large portion of a book about his life and his time with Michael Jackson. We're told a big chunk of the Jackson story casts blame on others and justifies his conduct in the treatment that ultimately killed the singer and sent Murray to the slammer.

We're also told Murray would be open to some sort of reality show, following his life after jail. Fact is ... it would probably be entertaining. Remember Murray singing to Anderson Cooper?

We're told he does not have a publisher for the book. We don't know if any reality show producers have expressed interest, but you can bet they'll come a calling.

:puke:

Cool. Kill the biggest entertainer of all time and get treated like your a celebrity with an interesting story to tell. Imagine if Jackson had killed someone. No book deals etc then!

Yes we know who the backers of the campaign are and we support the campaign. It is not known who placed the banners. . Looks like they are conspiracy theorists. The banners are a personal statement from some fans and not from the campaign backers.

Re: Conrad Murray is now released from Jail Oct 28th 12:01 am [News and Discussion Thread]

I thought I needed to vent here but I exactly don't care any more :beee:

I do have the urge to be PROUD and STUBBORN and show the world what Michael taught us :cheeky:

I just don't want to waste any more energy on this 'low life' that thinks he's a BIG star now and besides...
ALL the 'reports' are 'hearsay' right? It's everyone around him telling the media what he 'supposed' to do now.

We haven't heard anything come out of flousy's own mouth, do we? NOT that I'm even interested or eager to listen to what 'crap' he has to say but I think the Tabloids are just 'winding' us up as usual.

We can hope for Justice that his licenses are kept 'revoked' and that the #BoycottCM campaign hits off.
If we raise our voice as one, we can achieve Justice, right?

Re: Conrad Murray is now released from Jail Oct 28th 12:01 am [News and Discussion Thread]

This Adams dude is the one that introduced Murray to MJ didn't he?? now he's saying that Murray lost the plot? he knew Murray was crazy when he introduced him to Michael.

Re: Conrad Murray is now released from Jail Oct 28th 12:01 am [News and Discussion Thread]

I don't agree jaydom7. It is quite likely that Murray had some issues but was relatively harmless. It could be that bringing him into Michael's life brought those issues to the fore. We have seen this time and time again when it comes to Michael. His level of celebrity and the power of his charisma tended to magnify people's core characteristics. Those who are fundamentally good and decent, grow as people and artists. Those with darker tendencies end up suing, writing books, making accusations, giving tell-all interviews, etc.

I keep telling you guys Michael had some powerful mojo and not everyone in his life knew how to handle it!!

I wish people can curse him at least as soon as they see him. He deserves to know he's widely hated for taking away Michael so cruelly from his children and all of us! :boohoo:

Re: Conrad Murray is now released from Jail Oct 28th 12:01 am [News and Discussion Thread]

It says in some MJ boards:

"On October 28th, we'll be 'blacked out' for 24hrs, in honor and solidarity for Michael."

IMO- Solidarity in my opinion would be not mention "that murderer" on the internet. Solidarity with Michael Jackson would be doing charity and showing that nothing and nobody will mess up with Michael's reputation and that we the fans would continue to spread his legacy around the world.
I would not change my life,my daily routine because of an abominable being and son of B#@ like that "Murderer".

I think Adams was hired as Dr Murray's body guard after MJs death. He was not a part of Michaels crew and did not introduce him as far as I remember

Conrad Murray completes jail time for killing Michael Jackson

Los Angeles (CNN) — Dr. Conrad Murray left the Los Angeles County jail under sheriff’s escort, avoiding reporters and Michael Jackson fans waiting for his release early Monday.

Murray, who served two years of a four-year sentence for causing Michael Jackson’s death, was driven away in a sheriff’s car for the “safety and security” of the jail, sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore said.

The handful of Jackson fans gathered outside the jail accused the Los Angeles County sheriff of showing favoritism to Murray by slipping him out of the jail through a back exit, instead of the door where freed prisoners normally leave.

Murray, who the sheriff’s spokesman described as an exemplary inmate, was kept away from the general inmate population during his two years in the jail. He was also allowed to have liberal use of a telephone inside his cell during his last year.

Murray’s lawyer told reporters outside the jail that he would try to get his medical licenses reinstated in California, Texas and Nevada so he can resume the medical career interrupted by his conviction on the involuntary manslaughter in 2011.

A jury concluded after a two-month trial that Murray’s negligence led to Jackson’s death from an overdose of the surgical anesthetic propofol.

The cardiologist, who was hired to serve as the pop icon’s personal doctor for his comeback tour in 2009, told investigators he gave Jackson nightly infusions of propofol to treat his intractable insomnia for two months so he could rest for rehearsals.

Prosecutors argued that his negligence included leaving Jackson unmonitored and unattended while the powerful anesthetic was being pumped into his vein through an IV drip.

Deputy District Attorney David Walgren, arguing for the maximum four years in jail, said Murray was “playing Russian roulette with Michael Jackson’s life every single night,” by using propofol to put him to sleep in “a reckless, obscene manner.”

Murray’s lawyers unsuccessfully argued that Jackson self-administered the drug while Murray was out of his bedroom.

He remained unremorseful during his two years in jail.

"My entire approach may not have been an orthodox approach, but my intentions were good," Murray told CNN’s Anderson Cooper interview last April.

He said his intentions were to wean Jackson from propofol. He said he succeeded in eliminating propofol from his insomnia treatment three days before Jackson’s death.

"I explained to Michael that this is an artificial way of considering sleep. It was basically sedation, minimal sedation," he told Cooper.

Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor imposed the maximum sentence on Murray, even though the doctor was technically eligible for probation.

Pastor, in a 30-minute speech explaining his sentence, cited Murray’s “pattern of deceit and lies. That pattern was to assist Dr. Murray.”

Jackson died “not because of an isolated one-off occurrence or incident,” Pastor said. “He died because of a totality of circumstances which are directly attributable to Dr. Murray … because of a series of decisions that Dr. Murray made.”

Murray, he said, became involved in “a cycle of horrible medicine.”

Jackson family members and fans have complained that Murray should have been prosecuted for second degree murder — not manslaughter.

What America should learn from Dr. Conrad Murray’s role in Michael Jackson’s death

By Dr. Manny AlvarezDr Manny's Notes
Published October 28, 2013 FoxNews

Dr. Conrad Murray was released from prison today, just two years into his four-year sentence for the involuntary manslaughter of Michael Jackson in June 2009. Jackson died from an overdose of the powerful anesthetic propofol, which Murray had given Jackson to help him sleep.

Though Murray’s medical license has been suspended or revoked in three states, he has vowed to appeal his case, causing some to wonder whether it’s possible for the 60-year-old former cardiologist to ever be licensed to practice again.

In theory, the answer is, ‘Yes,’ but only if Murray’s conviction was overturned. And according to recent reports, an appeals court has questioned whether it needs to hear the case.

Though I doubt that Murray’s attempt at an appeal will be successful, I mentioned his case because Murray represents a very sad chapter in medical history. What is his legacy as a physician? Not contributing to the well-being of his patients, or making any significant medical discoveries, but rather, being convicted of involuntary manslaughter.

Recently, Fox News Health has covered numerous stories about the epidemic of prescription drug abuse in the United States, including the Food and Drug Adminstration’s (FDA) recently proposed restrictions on the highly addictive painkiller hydrocodone.

Drugs like these are quickly becoming the leading cause of addiction for millions of Americans. In fact, deaths resulting from overdoses on prescription painkillers increased five-fold between 1999 and 2010, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

At the heart of this epidemic are many doctors, like Murray, who have failed to pay attention to the risks of these medications. They have provided prescriptions without regard to the consequences that drugs like opoid painkillers can have for patients.

I hope that health care providers re-familiarize themselves with the story of Dr. Conrad Murray and glean from it, an important lesson that as physicians, we all must remember; “First, do no harm.”

I shudder to think there is a chance that Murray may laugh himself all the way to the bank if he is paid millions of dollars to write a book and tell his side of the story – but unfortunately, these days, that is not too far-fetched.

The real story here is that physicians cannot be passive bystanders when dealing with individuals who do not realize the dangers of drug abuse, or they too could end up jailed and disgraced – like Murray.

Jackson’s life had a tragic ending, and the people who surrounded him should have known better than to allow him to abuse drugs like propofol – especially the medical professionals who were supposed to be looking out for him.

Well at least she admits it even though Conrad wont admit any wrong doing.
He was Negligent and was charged with Involuntary Manslaughter.

He's going to disappear from the public view for a while......

Re: Conrad Murray is now released from Jail Oct 28th 12:01 am [News and Discussion Thread]

Your hope is for me more then questionable.

Murray was judged from a public court. He was in jail. If now he is free after only a half of the sentence so this is not the blame from Murray but it is the law or wathever.

Your wish is out of place and it is an appeal for self-justice.
I feel as a Michael Jackson Fan and such wish will be a bad spotlight for us all.
I distance me from that.

CONRAD MURRAY FIRST STOP BURGER RUN

Conrad Murray is a shadow of his former self, looking noticeably older and gray, as he chowed down on his first post-pokey meal -- IN-N-OUT!

Murray looked business casual after wearing standard issue orange for 2 years. He was able to evade cameras as he left jail at 12:01 AM, thanks to the L.A. County Sheriff's Dept.

According to his receipt, the whole meal cost him $8.94, including two Double-Doubles, something he probably dreamed about for months.

For comparison's sake, here's Murray's mug shot from 2011, taken moments after he was convicted of manslaughtering Michael Jackson. The good doc looks a good 20 lbs lighter now.

Jail -- better than Jenny Craig.

JERMAINE JACKSON
'DISGUSTED' BY MURRAY'S RELEASE

Jermaine Jackson isn't just furious that Conrad Murray is a free man -- just 2 years after Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter -- Jermaine is "disgusted."

Michael's bro expressed his ire moments ago at LAX, but you really have to watch the video to get a feel for it.

Tito Jackson was also there, but he was feeling a little less talkative.

As we reported, Murray was released from jail in L.A. early this AM ... and immediately hit up an In-N-Out for some burger therapy.

Can one feel empty and sad at once? Not even rage. 6/25 will never end, sometimes you think it's over, but again your heart has been ripped out of your chest, the more final 6/25 becomes, and again and again and again.
Heart is bleeding
No point in defeating
The deafening nothing
That now rules all days.

Re: Conrad Murray is now released from Jail Oct 28th 12:01 am [News and Discussion Thread]

I hope that the media won't give this guy a platform but sadly i'm 90% sure that's gonna happen. When it comes to MJ the media have no limits on how low they will sink. There will probably be book deals, TV interviews and lots of other B.S, and you just know that the media will try to make Murray look sympathetic and make MJ look like the bad guy.

I hope i'm wrong. I really do

Conrad Murray Believes Michael Jackson Wants Him To Take Care Of His Children, Says Former Bodyguard

With just hours to go before he’s to be released from prison, Conrad Murray is plotting out his new life, and a big part of it is caring for Michael Jackson‘s children, the disgraced doctor’s former bodyguard, Jeff Adams, told the New York Daily News.

“Murray thinks Michael would want him to care for his children,” Adams said. “He has lost his mind. Paris and Prince solely blame him for killing their dad.

“It is quite sad because he is causing Michael’s daughter more problems. He is deluded and feels like they are close like they were before Michael died.”

Murray is refusing to accept that Jackson’s kids — Paris, Prince and Blanket want nothing to do with him, Adams said.

“They have asked him to leave the country but he is in denial.”

Adams worked for Murray from the time of Jackson’s death in 2009 until he went to prison in 2011, convicted of involuntary manslaughter.

according to the bodyguard, Murray has never shown remorse for his actions contributing to Jackson’s death.

“He never said ‘sorry’ to the children or their grandmother for his actions and I don’t think he ever will.”

Conrad Murray, Michael Jackson's doctor, eyeing singing career, says ex-bodyguard

Jeff Adams, the former bodyguard of Conrad Murray, tells Confidenti@l that former doctor accused of killing Michael Jackson is eyeing a singing career.

Conrad Murray is convinced he has what it takes to follow in the footsteps of the pop great he is responsible for killing, says the deranged doctor’s ex-bodyguard.

Michael Jackson's killer doctor wants to go from jailbird to songbird.

Conrad Murray is convinced he has what it takes to follow in the footsteps of the pop great he is responsible for killing, says the deranged doctor’s ex-bodyguard. “Murray thinks he can make it as a singer in the future,” Jeff Adams told the Daily News.

“He has lost the plot. He needs to worry about protecting his life before getting a record deal.”

Murray, 60, is set to be released from a Los Angeles jail on Monday. The disgraced doctor was sentenced in November 2011 to four years behind bars for orchestrating the King of Pop’s fatal overdose.

Murray, who has filed a court petition seeking to get his medical license reinstated, sees big dollar signs in his future, Adams said.

“He is working on rebuilding his career in the medical field and forging a career in entertainment,” Adams said, noting that the doctor is also writing a book about his relationship with Jackson. “He is offering it to publishers and expects seven figures. People have told him no one wants to read it, but he is using Michael to try and make money.”

“He is working on rebuilding his career in the medical field and forging a career in entertainment,” Adams (pictured) said

Those are just a few of Murray’s many deluded fantasies, according to Adams. The ex-doctor also believes he’s going to reconnect with *****’s children — Prince, Paris and Blanket.

“Murray thinks Michael would want him to care for his children,” Adams said. “He has lost his mind and is undergoing a breakdown. Paris and Prince solely blame him for killing their dad.

“It is quite sad because he is causing Michael’s daughter more problems. He is deluded and feels like they are close like they were before Michael died. He refuses to accept that the Jackson kids want nothing to do with him. They have asked for him to leave the country, but he is in denial.”

Adams said he spent more than two years working as Murray’s personal bodyguard in the wake of Jackson’s death. Over that time, not once did Murray express remorse for Jackson’s death or apologize to his family, Adams said. “Throughout all that time he never said ‘sorry’ to the children or their grandmother for his actions — and I don’t think he ever will,” Adams said.

“He didn’t write a letter or note, which I found strange too. He wallowed in his own issues and didn’t really stop to think what the kids were going through. Murray actually thinks he is the victim in this matter.”

Adams said he believes Murray should shelve his dreams of mounting a comeback in the U.S. and instead leave the country for the sake of his safety. “Murray should walk out of prison and leave America immediately. I would urge him to leave and go back to Trinidad,” Adams said.

“Murray has no concept or understanding of the severity of his crime or how the public views him. . . . There are a lot of fans and criminals who would serve time to have the prestige of killing him.”

This Adams guy DID introduce CM to MJ--he was asked to supply a dr reference and he suggested CM b/c he had helped his dad. Adams testified in the AEG trial (deposition).

Re CM--he is "The Little Boy that Santa Forgot" and I think Santa had the right idea!!
