Controversial MJ Documentary Leaving Neverland [GENERAL DISCUSSION THREAD]

Sometimes it’s easy to think that they only make ut stories about Michael Jackson in this way but now then I come to think about it I remember the swedish ”newspaper” back in the 90s once printed a rather big story about a girl who claimed that she was the real Lisa Marie Presley. Lisa Marie herself was a polish nursery child and they had been replaced at birth. She had written a book claiming that and in was a rather big story in a Sunday supplement to the paper... Now the story about Michael seem to be removed.

Brian Oxman stated that Michael would be able to fight the charges in Court, back in 2005, on account of the paper trail that Michael and his associates had accumulated through the years. I bring this up on account of the latest breaking news on Michael Jackson, that his family was going to help Michael escape from justice if he was found guilty in 2005. It seems to me Michael did indeed leave the country after the Verdicts, so why is this news worthy?! Because those headlines can scream in lieu of the doco coming and suddenly there will be a renewed interest in Michael Jackson!! This is so crazy what fake news can do?!

And anyone who see this crap (I have already read the 5 biggest moments in the doc from USAToday when the trash first aired at Sundance). you have to remember these are two PROVEN LIARS who are going to throw everything at the wall and see what lie stick (that is why they are saying it is graphic- OVERKILL is what it is called and some people will see through that as well. According to these clowns and their timeline, that would mean MJ was abusing them even before the Oprah interview. First of all, if MJ was an abuser, why would he allow Oprah into his home and open up his place to see how it looks and let people in in front of 90 million viewers or more since he was a private person who is now allowing the public in? Also, look back on the interview. Oprah asked MJ "Are you a virgin"? You can see how embarrassed he was in his eyes, body language, face, to answer that question. MOST men do not want to admit they are virgins even if they are virgins (which nothing is wrong with a man being careful); most men who are "active" (I do not care who they are sexual with)will say "No I am not" even if they are. Like I say, I look for the very telling key points (I know, I have been working in the system too long).

OK, this is just my personal opinion, but I am going to voice it very loud!

DO NOT START A WAR AGAINST THE METOO MOVEMENT ON TWITTER OR ANYWHERE ELSE!

We got a heavy battle on our hands with haters and regular people to educate, we do not need any more enemys!

Going after Tarana for liking some posts on facebook wont do us any good at all.

If Michael Jackson fans start attacking Tarana, then the movement will attack Michael Jackson fans and start a crusade against Michael Jackson!

Thats the last thing we want, it might go down that route anyway after LN airs, but why poke the bear when we have no chance of killing or even injure it?

The only thing we do is a create a bad reputation for Michael Jackson fans, and bring more attention to Leaving Neverland in the process.

Leave the metoo movement alone, its a sucide mission!

I think some good points were made here, the moment you/we attack metoo - we open the floodgates to attacks on a level we have never gotten before. It's fine to Express that people take advantage of the movement and so on.. but to talk badly about that movement or any other will get backlash that will only make us look like thoughtless enabling fans and make.Michael look more guilty.

This isn't going to work. MJ fans need to realize this. The social media platform is not going to listen. The best thing is for the estate to sue and have the documentary removed. The fans can email the appropriate people with facts to encourage to have the documentary removed.

There we have now a french speaking country. The channel will translate it in the fith most spoken language and can sell their work in other french speaking countrys like canada, countrys africa etc..

When a spanish speaking country will air it they can do the same with countrys in south america.
The only continent which probably will stay mostly unknowing about the content in this documentary will be asia, cause I don't think that it will be translate in chinese, hidi or arab.

Everyone of the thousends viewer who will belive the lies is a possible contributer for Wades victim found to make him able to pay his million of dollars debits to towards estate he has.

He will be maybe become one of the famous "victims" of childabuse.

And the peodophiles will be very happy that they finally reached their destination to make the most beloved, honared, talented, famous, sucessful and powerful human being of the world who is often called "The King of Music" to one of them!

The problem is not only this documentery.
Every next documentery about Michael Jackson will be based on LN and will use parts of it (what brings new money to Dan & Wade).
It will be simular to LwMJ. Every new documantary after 2003 was based on LWMJ and used very often parts of it instead of parts of the Private home movies.

Good advice. Please always be polite and careful with wording.

Ironically, the purpose of this whole case seems to be trying to derail the metoo movement (and it's working unfortunately: everyone is talking about LN, not Untouchable).

I think this can be pointed out and questioned.

It's in everyone's interest that the focus should remain on real predators and real victims. It would strengthen their cause in the long run if the leaders of the movement raised their voices against the dangers of false accusations and public lynching too.

That Matt Lucas is flat out lying when he says he was a fan before watching the film. People posted some of his hater comments he wrote years before (one even ridiculing Corey Feldman). Unbelievable.

Yep. And now he lies without blinking that he used to be a fan, just to give the impression the film was 'so powerful' it made him change his mind. He doesn't even brother anyone can see his former comments. Mind-blowing.
