He did more than whip him according to Michael. Watch the Bashir interview clip on Youtube. Michael says that he would throw you up against the wall as hard as he could. He says even more than that in the interview.

Yeah, funny how without Michael here the narrative about child abuse at the hands of his father changes. Now Michael looks like he made the whole thing up or highly exaggerated it in order to gain sympathy. I do believe, however, that it is inappropriate to hurl these accusations against the family in their time of grief or that it is OK for some users on this board to talk about inheritance etc. when there were only rumours about his quickly deteriorating health. Tacky.
