Your comment is kind of twisting the facts we know. The last 2 rehearsals on the 23rd and 24th was when MJ came back after not feeling well on the 19th and kicked it in the ass. The last 2 rehearsals he was in good form. He was not complaining or unable. The reason stated for adding various performances instead of just one for each song, is so they could show all the different rehearsal performances and incorporate them into the show. Also I would say for a smooth transition of a total song because there are a lot of starts and stops in rehearsals where director or MJ may tweak the band, singers and dancers. ( we saw a few) But I really doubt we will see more from TII anytime soon with all that is going on with the JAX vs AEG trial. Would be very bad bad timing. The Estate is smarter than that. Maybe in few yrs down the line

Still no news about what MP and BB are up to? Are they working on a new MJ single, a new album or what is going on??

Yes it would be nice if they could give more info .. but these things are always very hush hush.
 
With such a bad year for MJ fans, can't we just have one good thing? Someone say something, this is all we've got to look forward to really.
 
^ Exactly... Only "positive" thing we got is The One cirque... Rest are terrible news after terrible news, even AFTER his death... It should've at least been the other way

What an absolutely bizarre thing to say. Michael Durham Prince and Brad Buxer worked with Mj for many years and we know they have several unreleased songs. What possible reason would there be to think they are faking something? If they release songs that are blatantly not Mj as happened before then obviously people would then be justified in claiming "fake" but I don't see any reason why anyone would do that now. And they aren't.

I think the pathetic fans are those who hand over money for a product that is an outright insult to Michael's artistic integrity and shout down anyone who dares to ask legitimate and justifiable questions.

Anyway, moving on.

I know from the unreleased songs that have leaked and the unreleased songs that have not been heard publicly like the songs of Durham Prince and Buxer that they have enough for one more album but will they do it? Bad 25 under performed at retail and we all know what happened with the last album. I really hope an album comes out.
 
With all that's been going on (Trial, Wade, Paris) do you think they'd release anything in the middle of all of this? Or do you think they'll wait until it calms down a bit?

Good point. There may be a song out there in the vaults that relates to all this, even something like Xscape? Good way to show them who's boss

There's a bunch of song left for release. Xscape is ok but not strong enough for a single release. Red One has some tracks as well as others. I think a lot of producers have not handed over the material yet. I believe MJ made them sign no conformance papers. Meaning don't hand them over to anyone or talk about them to anyone. My guess is there are a few hundred songs out there that are capable of some sort of release. All this bullshit is going to take years I would guess. The one thing we have going for us is Sony signed a contract they have to release new material. I bet after this contract is over the estate will use there own label after that. Maybe Sony will distribute but it will be a new set of rules for sure. I sure could use new music. With all the controversy I think right now would be a great time to release new music. The longer they wait the more chance of more negative publicity equall shit sales. Do it now pls. My gut tells me next June will be they next release tho.

I'm sure there will be something this year. Five years remaining in the Sony contract + five more projects remaining on the Sony contract = one new project per year. MP's various tweets heavily imply that such project is an album, so I'm sure they'll try something. I've been told that the estate is putting together a great album to regain trust in the fans and to make up for the Michael fiasco (which is a daunty task, although I personally was overly satisfied with Bad 25).

I thought that too. I figure that the new project will drop later this year, as all the others have. I really don't think the Wade case will amount to much considering its completely BS accusations and stories, but that conversation is for another thread.

Escape is okay? I figure it to be one of the best tracks from the Invincible sessions, if not one of the best he's ever done. I think a single release of the song right now would be a great idea. Kind of a shout out to the naysayers.

RedOne has four songs with enough vocals to be released. And yes, there are several people who haven't given the estate any of their material because they don't believe Branca and McClain are fit enough to represent Michael's future. Most of these songs were recorded on Michael's time without any money from a record label, and assuming I know the law right, the producers have the right to withhold any material they want. That's why a large majority of the songs the estate has now were paid for by Sony or were given to them by people like Buxer or Neff-U.

And as I've already stated, there has to be at least one release a year, or risk oversaturating the market with MJ products by releasing two in one year.

My theory is that Michael Prince actually admitted, "Yeah, we're doing a project, but can you wait until the announcement of it to release this Q&A?"

Of course I know I'm wrong, but wouldn't it be something?
 
Xscape is a great song. I think it is a very strong song, like TDCAU, Tabloid Junkie etc. - I can easily see Xscape released as a single! - It would be great IMO!


I really hope we get a new release this year!!

I loved BAD25 - The DVD, the new songs, the live album, the doc - What's not to like ????


I just hope the new album will be promoted better (as in just being promoted!!!) !!

I hope the new album will have MUCH better and longer promotion than Michael had. - 3 songs destroyed Michael, and surely SONY and The Estate wont make that mistake again!

So with a new album that all fans enjoy and are not boycutting and HUGE promotion - and great songs of course - I think a new MJ album can do great!
 
I don't think they will do a soundtrack to "One" because the mixes are designed specifically for the theatre sound system. There aren't any album anniversaries coming up. Maybe Off The Wall 35 next year or Dangerous 25 in 2016. I don't think it would be good to do another greatest hits album, although no doubt they will one day in the future. One day maybe they will release all the short films on blu ray but not for a long time, otherwise they would have done it with Vision. That really only leaves a "new" album. They can't market it as the album he was working on before he died. They already did that, and wasted it imo. The should do an album of "lost treasures" or some such.

Don't bring in any modern producers.
Don't try to second guess what Michael would have done because you will fail.
Don't try to make short films.
Let the music speak for itself.

And yeah, definately no "controversial" songs but I know for a fact that they won't be going there again.
 
What should the new album be called?

I love the one word name like - Thriller, BAD, Dangerous, HIStory, Invincible


Actually I really like the idea of Michael Jackson - Xscape!

Not only that there is already a "soundtrack" for the cirque du solei show - immortal cd so they proberly dont wanna do another one since one has already been released

I love the one-word titles, but for me, I can't think of a better album title than Slave to the Rhythm.

There isn't a solo version of that song unfortunately. All that Michael ever recorded (the chorus and one or two ad-libs) was included on the 3T version.
 
I think 'slave to the rhythm' will be the first single if there will be a new album!

And i think it's pretty save to say that blue gansta and place with no name will be on there too!

I sure hope all those 3 songs ARE on the album!! - That would be great!! Hope for Escape too! - I think it could be popular. Only MJ fans know about the song and it SOOO needs to be released so many more people can enjoy it!
