MJ's Kids Forgo Christmas to Give to the Needy; MJ's New Musical Direction?

boy..when ur kids are willing to do that, that reverberrates throughout the planet, inside and out, about what it says about you as a parent. there ain't nothin the media can do to snuff that.

I dunno why, but my eyes welled up reading this post. it's so true. his kids seem like they are just like him, as well. aka good, caring, generous, kind people.

But it is nice that all his kids are taking after him- when it comes to changing the planet and so forth.
Theyw ill be defnately making a change- like their father did :)

SAD??? Noooo. Christmas is NOT about getting. It is about GIVING and the heart and spirit of the giver. We aren't to celebrate Christmas so we can see what all kind of new doo-dads we get this year under the tree (though it IS exciting).

The point is, they ARE having a Christmas with presents for the kids. But these kids don't want things for THEMSELVES (they no doubt recognize they have enough as it is, anyway), they want things for other people. However, they will likely recieve some presents from various people, so it isn't like they are going without, I mean come on. But there will be joy in the Jackson home this Christmas, because they KNOW that their gifts will be given to those in need.

So no, not sad at all.

what IS sad is that there are those out there with no one to give something special to, and no one to recieve anything special from. And that is precisely what the Jackson children seem to be addressing. Smart kids. :)

For his kids to want to give presents instead of getting them, shows how well Michael has raised them. Their blessings will come to them ten folds. I was watching E! yesterday and all they keep talking about was what expensive toys/clothes celebrities are buying for their children but did you hear anything about Michael's children wanting to spread the love, HELL NO!! Oh well
 
^^ Yeah some of my nieces are spoiled as f**k too. I was at their age but when you grow up, you realize giving is way better than getting, lol.

My cousins and goddaughter are spoiled, and I am like WTF you want $70 jeans for and you have NO JOB!! That is why I don't have kids, and when I do buy my goddaughter gifts it's only on her bday & xmas. Kids these days don't know the meaning of having to earn a gift, or giving to the less fortunate. Don't get me wrong I got my fair share of gifts especially being the only child. But I can say that my parents never just got up one morning and said hey let me buy Orie a $300 video game system, um believe me back in '88 I had to earn that Nintendo for Xmas.
I had friends that were less fortunate and my parents had no problems giving them stuff that I had wanted for myself, as I got older I learned that when you share the wealth with others, the feeling that comes with it is WONDERFUL....

I completely agree. I also grew up in that kind of environment, and like you said many kids these days don't understand the meaning of earning something or appreciating when they do get something. And giving less fortunate friends something even if it was something that you really wanted..it sends a message and you truly appreciate things when you share them with others, or rather you really get the most fulfillment when you do so..

I think Paris, Prince and Blanket are being brought up by a classy person. Michael is just pure class..no doubt about it. This value system that is being expressed by this child is so rare nowadays....especially for children of such a superstar. Kudos to Prince!

You guys may think I'm sappy for posting this, but it's just not said enough....not anywhere nearly enough to the public. I think the world of Michael Jackson and his little family!
