This occured right after Michael's death but I've only just come across it and found it so sweet.

At Dave Matthews Band's June 26 show in Brixton Academy, London, Dave played a little bit from "I'll Be There."

I think it was such a simple yet tender and beautiful tribute to Michael. I loved the fans' reactions - cheering and singing along. It actually made me cry a bit. You can tell he's a caring guy, much like MJ.
The next song DMB played after "I'll Be There" was "Lying In The Hands Of God."

At Glastonbury, Dave was asked about Michael. He talks about him from 2:55 onwards. He talks about him being "nailed to the cross" and that maybe now we can start remembering the great things he did, and talks about how he's been a fan of Michael's since the J5. "A thorough and successful and flourishing life" is what he calls Michael's. I think it's sweet.

Thanks for posting Emerald. I enjoy hearing what other influential artists say about Michael and how he had inspired them.

You're very welcome, elmari :)
I love DMB. Dave's an amazingly talented guy himself, and I love that he paid tribute to Michael.

lol at 2:04 I walk past Dave in the interview(I was taking photos that weekend) made me laugh as I watching it for the interview and totally forgot I might be in it!
