Thriller is a great Christmas seller. I wish Michael released a Christmas album as an adult. He would also be the King of Christmas, just like how he is the King of Halloween. He would rival Mariah Carey during Christmas season.

Very interesting. I see Thriller was #92 last week on the Billboard charts! That's incredible for a 35 year old album still in the Top 100.

Thriller is #99 on this week's Billboard 200 chart. It's now only 4 weeks away from spending 400 weeks on the Billboard 200 chart.

The Essential dropped out last week and didn't return this week, but that is due to the many Christmas albums on the charts. It should be back after the Christmas season is over.

Speaking of Christmas albums, the Jackson 5 Christmas album is also on the Billboard 200 chart at #134.
 
Thriller has literally spent the majority of 2019 on the Billboard 200 charts.... simply unreal for a 35 year old album. It's one of the classics without a doubt. Once that Bio-Pic comes out, I expect MJ's albums to soar into the charts.

^ Thriller shot up 18 spots this week on the Billboard 200 chart , now sitting at #81. Simply unreal for a 36 year old album who's artist has been dead for a decade, and has had the entire year with a media campaign against him for child abuse. The public responds with a big F U. lol

It is indeed :) and imo shows a lot of people do see through it even though that dosn&#8217;t fit the media narrative.

If we had got a Dangerous 25, it would have spent more weeks on the charts. Bad really benefited from the release of the 25th anniversary edition. Bad 25 itself only spent 2 weeks on the charts, but the original album spent quite a few weeks on the charts.

Thriller edged up 1 more spot now sitting at #80 on Billboard 200 , celebrating its 398th week on the chart. Approaching the big 400 mark.

The Jackson 5 Christmas Album surged up 46 spots to #53 on the Billboard 200.

Amazing performance by the Jackson 5 Christmas album. If Michael had done a Christmas album / song as a solo artist, he would have every chance of getting to number 1, as he is way more popular than the Jackson 5.

Absolutely, I&#8217;m sure he would have ruled the charts. I know I&#8217;m not the only one around here who would have loved to hear not just some of the J5 tunes in adult version, but also Christmas classics. It would have been extraordinary, I&#8217;m sure.
 
As Christmas albums depart the charts, Number Ones returns to the UK charts as expected at #71.
