LaToya Jackson Released From Hospital After ‘Excruciating’ Incident

LaToya Jackson was released from Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles Wednesday, after she suffered infection-like symptoms on her left hand following a trip to the nail salon.
The 55-year-old sister of the late Michael Jackson tweeted to more than 74,000 followers: “At Cedars-Sinai Hospital N BH. Woke up in unbearable pain! Index finger on my left hand is completely swollen & on fire"
“Had my nails done, I wonder if that has anything to do with it?” she wrote. (This is a plausible explanation for what triggered the pain, as she could have suffered a bad reaction to the chemicals/procedures involved in getting one’s nails done.)

“I'm not 1 to go 2 the hospital 4 anything but this pain is so excruciating!” the Celebrity Apprentice alum wrote.
After thanking her followers for their sympathetic outpouring, LaToya said she “left the hospital,” but was still in pain.

“My finger is still hurting, the doctor is sending me 2 a hand specialist N the morning & he gave on some medicine.”
We wish LaToya a speedy recovery.

Through all that 'pain' she still managed to get a picture of herself to post on twitter. Can we say greedy, attention-seeking drama queen?
 
I hope she doesn't have arthritis, my mom has that kind of pain.
 
and this needs to be anounced to the media why? great shot in the hospital. can these ppl not do anything in private. cause its such major news that she got a false nail and it got infected.

I know my goodness...what is she gonna do next..sue that nail salon??? why they announce everything they do is beyond me..her and Randy do that ALL the time..we dont need to know everything she does.

Gee, when I saw the topic I though the poor girl had some pain in her lungs, heart or something serious and I was about to wish her a speedy recovery. Then I find out it is a swelling on her hand and she tweeted followers. How can you tweet through all this pain! Well get well soon LaToya, and I hope next time it will not be more serious.

Should we send get well cards or flowers?

La Tonta is always well groomed. I have to give her that. However, her need for drama and limelight is unnerving. I wonder if she called her mom and told her she was going to the hospital too. She seems very close to her followers, since she keeps them abreast of her activities. We could send her a picture of Michael to cheer her up.
 
That was a very naughty insect. It must never do that again, causing her to go to the hospital and giving her pain. I hope they spray the LA area before I go there later this month. I refuse to be stung by a LA insect when we have our own insects here in NY. I hope the authorities look into this matter.

She's probably feeling very grateful towards the insect for the five minutes of drama and fame it offered her.

Waw Latoya is traveling all over the place. Don't forget to fly with some insect repellant. You don't want to have a repetition of that hand incident!! Don't forget to say hola.
 
Oh Latoya come back!! your "fall guy" has appealed the judge's decision which may cause your loving brother's trial to be delayed. Come back and let's go on TV and scream about it. You can also take the opportunity to tell us more about the insect bite and promote your book and concert at the same time.
