The AMC zombie series posted yet another 1.7 rating in adults 18-49, steady with its episode a week ago and beating any of the night’s other shows in the demo by almost a whole point. Its weekly after show, “Talking Dead,” placed fifth with a 0.5, down a tenth from its last broadcast.
Bravo’s “Real Housewives of Atlanta” came second in the night with a 0.8, up from its previous 0.7. The 2-part season premiere of the Discovery Channel’s “Naked and Afraid” followed closely behind with back-to-back 0.6s.
Showtime’s “Shameless” rebounded from its season low 0.2 to a 0.4 this week. Meanwhile, the premiere of part 1 of HBO’s “Leaving Neverland” documentary grabbed a 0.4 with 1.29 million viewers.

The USA wrestling series claimed the top 3 slots of the chart as it does week after week, with all 3 hours across which it aired matching their previous scores. The peak came at 8 p.m. when the WWE program captured another 1.1 in adults 18-49, with the 9 p.m. showing at 1.0 and the 10 p.m. showing at 0.9.
A bit further down the chart, “Love & Hip Hop” on VH1 took home another 0.6 to hold onto the fourth-place slot, while “Love & Hip Hop Miami” netted an additional 0.5. Fellow VH1 series “Cartel Crew” continued treading water at 0.3, the same score it had fallen to last week.
MTV’s “Teen Mom” picked up one-tenth of a point, rising from 0.5 to 0.6, but Bravo’s “Vanderpump Rules” remained at 0.5. On Food Network, “Kids Baking Championship” held a 0.4 for the second week in a row, although “American Pickers” on History rose from 0.2 to 0.3.

This is big flop I guess.

Shouldn't be compared to them, people have moved on to streaming platforms.

I'm interested in seeing the online numbers if it was to come out.
 
Either way, for the way they promoted this and it to be MICHAEL JACKSON, it would be higher but no, it was not. People are just sick of it. And I do not care what anyone say, most people will not buy believe someone who testify under oath to defend someone and been praising someone for 20 years an then when they die, u want to talk. wont work. And u can believe many who did watch were not buying it as well. The people who did are part of the metoo like Rosie,Amber,etc and already was bias. And some people already think MJ was guilty so they will never change their minds-so what, it does not make it so still- and then there were people who believe he was guilty but change their minds after watching it and see this was a witch hunt on MJ. Again, we take too much on what some media outlets say (really, it is their own bias), people may not agree with how MJ put himself in these position but they aint buying all of this that was said and how can a doc which people can say what they want can override what the LAW did (and MJ was given no free pass).

Oh it absolutely can be compared. HBO doesn't have an issue with ratings when people are interested. If HBO's "Game of Thrones" can garner 12 million views, surely the most hyped up documentary of the year can do better.

I'm surprised at the low ratings tbh.

WWE consistently tops the ratings, I dont think people realise how popular wrestling still is.
 
I believe Surviving R Kelly did close to double the ratings that this did, and R Kelly is nowhere near as big of a name as Michael.
 
Glad it's a ratings flop but I'm worried that this crap might be nominated for a few awards next year for "Best Documentary". Ugh. I just have a bad feeling it will.

I don't think it will. Don't even think about that. The government and Hollywood are very weird anyways
