Bruce Swedien talks about recording Bad & Monster Cable

I haven't seen these videos posted before so I thought I'd share.
Monster Cable was a new sound cable first used during the recording of the Bad album. Since then Michael has used it on all his albums. Check out the video interviews with Bruce Swedien.

Ehm, am I the only one who got to thinking about what he said about Rod Temperton. Bruce said that he got both MJ and Quincy over to listen to the cable, and he said that Rod Temperton was also working with them at the moment. That would have to mean that Rod must have been submitting songs or been working on the Bad album, too - but I have never heard about that before. At least he obviously didn´t get any tracks on the album that time. Anyone knows??
