Michael - The Great Album Debate

Personally, I'd love Heaven Can Wait remixed using Water-like instrumentation. I quite like the actual music in the snippet. As I said, Eddie isn't incompetent when creating music; he shows a lot of potential in all honesty.

This might be the first compliment I've seen Eddie get from a doubter. :p

Maybe, but not to a standard of anything great,typical now music really, if he did stuff with Bieber or Usher, it's a number one

Eh, I give credit where credit is due. For the undeveloped song-writing abilities that he's showcased, he's at least shown himself to be able to create memorable music tracks with great beats and some of 'em can really get you dancing. I've never questioned his musical abilities, it's always been about the vocals, and the aforementioned poor song-writing in comparison to Michael's previous work. But given that he seems to be a musical novice (he hasn't seemed to have gotten a lot of work) it's... Well, somewhat understandable why work written by him predominantly isn't as strong as it could be.
 
Well, you also have to remember James Porte helped out a lot with the songs.
 
let's say the tracks are not released in the Michael album. say eddie works with usher, or bieber or chris brown. then, promotes the songs as songs that are originally intented for michael. michael recorded some vocals, but never got to complete them. may be the songs may fare better.
 
I was thinking today about how Eddie did say that Michael recording "background vocals" to the songs in the shower.

I am quite sure of it, check out the Oprah interview, he says it rather quickly but he said he did background vocals in there.

I have suspected this all along, that Michael did a sort of thing like the song "Ride With Me".

You see, they could even take that "Ride With Me" song, take Jason Malachi, record new parts and mix them in with Michael's couple lines and there you go! You've got a new Michael Jackson song called "Ride With Me". Even though Michael only recorded a few backing vocals...(just an example)

I believe he was talking about WBSS 2008, which is credited in Thriller 25 booklet as having background vocals recorded by Anjelikson. See the irony is that Eddie is telling the truth in that clip. But he doesn't give any story about Michael recording proper songs or lead vocals. That clip of him talking about Michael recording in the shower cubicle, along with the things he doesn't say is very revealing.

So Burn Tonight's leak...interesting. It gives me another track to work on. So far i removed the 2/3 DJ tags. The third one was removed but some of the music is distorted. I will make it sound like MJ...not JM

I believe Monster is 100% MJ. So id be fine with that at the shows. As for My Burn Tonight project...idk. its hard. And im sure it wont be exact.

I'll have your ticket if it's in the show!! I'd rather sit through that than have to wait a year and a half for it to possibly reach over here! :D I'll also tape it for you and edit out the track(s)!!!

The leaking of Burn 2Nite in full should put an end to this debate. How anyone who considers themselves to be a fan of Michael can possibly think he is singing that is beyond me. I'm not trying to offend anyone, but as someone with an in depth knowledge of Michael's voice for decades, I just don't get it. What are people hearing that makes them think it sounds more like Michael than Jason? The more stuff leaks, the more fans get a chance to hear the reality.
