Yes, cuz by the time he's old enough to go to school, the authenticity of the vocals will still be up in the air

What happened to Jesta?

What happened?

I did pretty far below what I was expected to get for one of my English exams... I still "passed", but I should've gotten more. Funny thing is, I was told that the marking can be subjective, and who I described as a person that inspires me/I admire/means a lot to me in one of the questions was Michael, and I talked about the first six months of my fandom and how I empathized with him.

That, and I was ONE MARK off an A in History :(

This one's better

@Staff: this is allowed right? I saw plenty of girls like that in public on the beach :D

I hope you haven't been spying on the girls, Bumper! Arky and Love don't like to be watched when they're looking in the mirror... :naughty:

How do you assess yourself?

How do you assess yourself?

I assess myself in that area on how much I write and then mentally compare the quantity and quality of the piece to my past exam-style pieces. In all fairness, it felt to me as good as the other things, and my teacher who's an examiner gave me A*'s for them. So based on my past abilities, I felt like I should've gotten more.

EDIT: Hey, this comment's number is a palindrome! :D

The thing is, when a teacher assesses, s/he has to take into account all the copies s/he has read. So if someone else did a better job than you it is impossible to give him/her more than the maximum. If you are given the maximum, it would be unfair towards the one who did a better job.

The subjective part must be accepted by the pupil as the originality is taken into account. Maybe the teacher expected you to write about Michael and didn't have a surprise effect.

In any case, it is extremely difficult to assess people's essays. It is the same case with a jury in front of an amateur performance.

Another thing. The reason your teacher did not give you the maximum could also mean that he/she believes that you are capable of doing even better than that. So I wouldn't worry about school marks. No one will ask you about them when you will be looking for a job later on.

Here's the thing, this wasn't marked by my teacher but rather an anonymous examiner. This grade was for my end-of-school exams. What's so shocking is that I did so well in the past and I've somehow botched it up for the real thing.
