Once you get used to it, it is really good :) Also, you have a shop that sells that? Lucky! I had to mod my original Xbox to play them!
 
You modded your Xbox to play Game Boy games!? Awesome!! And yeah, though they're somewhat expensive, depending on rarity of the game. But they have quite a few games and I always go there now!
 
It plays all sorts of stuff! N64, Master System, PS1 ,Game Gear, GBA it was a good idea :D

They would have to show what steps they took to insure the authenticity of these records especially when the authenticity was questioned not only by MJ's family, by some who worked with MJ, by fans, and also by a member of MJ's own estate. The loss of reputations that day would be great. At the very least they are going to look like a bunch of baffoons.
Sony and their legal team would have to weigh the costs. Would it be better to allow the fraud to continue and if it is ever bought to light, deny the claims, produce evidence that the claims are false, and deny knowing anything and in the meantime, keep a small fraction that believes they are false under control; or, do we go to court and stake our reputation and financial future concerning this product?

We have to remember that even if it were proved that Sony was defrauded, proving that Sony knew this at anytime is going to be much more difficult. Companies like this don't get that big and stay around for so long by leaving trails of information around about their dirty deeds.

The chances are: zero! Because:

The Estate recognized them as genuine songs.
The Cascios could demand SONY to prove they're fake. And without any trace + today's amazing studio technology capable of doing wonders and horrors how is SONY going to prove anything? It's a dead end.

Props to you! I haven't played emulated games in a while, so I'm not dedicated enough to mod any of my consoles for games. The last games I played on an emulator were the MOTHER series. Terrific games with an amazing story.

Lets keep it on topic guys. After passing the headphones back and forth between me and mum, we've come to the conclusion that the hee-hee-hee in Breaking News is not the one from In The Closet. In fact, it sounds like three separate Hees cut together.

Guys, I'm creating a PowerPoint presentation for my college class about these tracks, and I need accounts about the situation from some of you veterans. I can't include anything illegal, so comparisons can only be limited to the released tracks, and obviously no leaked tracks can be used in the slightest.

What I need from you guys is a summary of your beliefs in the situation, such as your comments on the vibrato, what you believed happened with the tracks, maybe even a little bit about yourself as an MJ fan. I want this to be as authentic as possible, so any input will be greatly appreciated!

yes they r allowed. what is not allowed is unreleased tracks and stolen stuff
 
OK, good to know because if I'm going to do this (I have to say EXACTLY what I'm putting in this to my form tutor so she'll see that what I'm discussing is not illegal) I'll have to include comparisons.
 
You know, I would LOVE to have a representative of JAB ME tell us why comparisons and mixes with only Malachi were taken down. Were the Malachi-only mixes so hard to distinguished from "Michael" that they took it down to be safe?
 
@jesta i can't believe i'm saying this but . . .
i already have something typed up for you. I wrote out all my feelings about this about a month after i heard monster. Seriously, i have a 5 page word document that lays out EXACTLY how i feel about this situation. I haven't showed it to anyone--i just wrote it for myself. that's how i handle things--i love to write, and i journal from time to time.

So i'll send it to you via pm. I may add a little to the end to "update" it, but it might be nice (for your project) to have someone's point of you from pretty much the time period that it actually happened. I'm actually going to go back and read through it again right now--i haven't read it since i wrote it lol.

Good for you for doing a project on something you actually care about.
