Michael - The Great Album Debate

OK, so This Is It was ALL recorded without Michael wanting to. His smile as he went back on stage and talked about the show was a lie because he hated being on camera so much to record his creative process and his rehearsals for reference. I didn't say he liked being recorded in general, but we have private home movies, footage of him in the studio and footage of him crafting This Is It. He was NOT above being recorded for reference's sake.

Don't spread things like that my friend if you want the immortal album to sell more than 100,000 units
Never said the Cascio songs were on Immortal album but on the tour they used some but trust me it will sell a lot more "Michael" became the Global #1 album in less than a week even with the controversy.

Only reason he recorded rehearsals was to see them later and see how he can improve but he himself said when he records music in a studio he keeps the lights off

So... How is that footage of All In Your Name possible? Don't tell me they got E Casanova to fill the role!? Barry's just as bad as the Cascios! :O Also that footage from The One if I'm not mistaken also begs to differ. Tastes and preferences change over time, and it's possible/probable that Michael became more comfortable to sing WITH the lights on as he grew older. Otherwise all of this footage would just be impossible to be real.

You know, THIS footage:

You just can't use an opinion from 1988 when talking about Michael in 2007. People change and evolve over time, no-one stays the same over that long period of time. So talking about 80s Michael is irrelevant in this discussion.

I'm sorry but you can't use the family for proof the tracks are MJ. They called him freak, pedo, amongst other things. Their point is invalid and I find it embarassing we seem to care more for MJ than his own mother.

Um I see Barry and MJ not MJ alone but who knows maybe he did change over the years

Who called MJ those things ?

And we care about the Jackson Family but MJ is the one who we care of the most

How ironic that this video has fake vocals in the end. :D

@
Studio vs. live recording won't change the accent. And clearly you have no idea of music production... mics in the shower for main vocals ... 'processing' ... Melodyne ... Jesus Christ. You have no idea yet are just repeating what you hear. People here actually use Melodyne, are 'processing' audio tracks. Are recording in different locations. What do you do? Ever touched Melodyne?

And to all the other of your ... things ... I won't comment.

Read again buddy cause I had it but never got a chance to listen to the CD and we all know that Let Me Let Go isn't MJ
And neither's
Breaking News
Monster
Keep Your Head Up
Fall In Love
Water
Ready 2 Win
Black Widow.... the list goes on.

Huh, that'll teach me for not watching it to the end! :D

But the point is, there is plenty of footage of Michael in the studio, before AND after Moonwalk. So having Michael being recorded during these sessions isn't THAT out of the ordinary, in fact it would be expected in order to document the process!

BTW, you do know that they took WORDS from previous MJ songs to bookend phrases, right?

You need to listen again cause Breaking News and Monster are on Immortal

Keep Your Head Up IDK yet but my friend that went to the concert says it was

Can you provide a link tg one of the youtube videos where Breaking News is used and tell me at what point exactly it appears cos all I hear is "in the news today from the strange and weird factfile" which is from Tabloid Junkie, followed by Privacy then TDCAU. And I see that in another thread you have already been warned about spreading such false information.

So to make it clear to everyone who may be worried: BN is NOT in the Immortal show.

Ahh...loved that! So great to see him working on songs and getting all into it and getting little glimpses of how he works.

Billy Bush:"So, you decided to get back into making music"
Michael: "I never stopped".

:D

@ADKIc3mAnX

So you see no reason why not to think it's Michael. Ok...but I'd like to know how you'd feel if it, indeed, turned out to be someone elses voice. Not talking about how you'd feel yourself about your mistake, but how would you feel about that someone did this to Michael? Can you understand the underlying emotion with the 'doubters'?

I don't choose to hear songs on 'Michael' that aren't sung by Michael and getting the feeling 'believers' (and spouse too

A week ago I posted this pic on a big forum with 117787 members and 7372 active members.

There is no discussion about this subject at all, so I decided to see if I got any reactions by saying I didn't hope that shirt referred to the Cascio song, because that's not Michael singing.

I got no reaction at all. Or they think it's him, or they really don't care.

I doubt it has any connection to the song. It's probably just a brand or design of tshirt.

Well, some of the songs have leaked in full, and some haven't, only in parts.

If the full Cascio tracks leak, I'm sure coolcat will let us know. He's usually on top of illegally leaking unreleased songs.

So, is it CONFIRMED that a line from Monster is used in the Immortal show?

Because if it is, it annihilates two other assumptions often held by the anti-Cascio people :

1- That the Estate and Sony were fooled, and realized their mistake too late. Obviously, if they now believed the Cascio tracks to be fake, they wouldn't let a single second from them be used in the Cirque show.

2- That the Estate, Sony and the Cascios all conspired to fool us. Because they wouldn't then push their luck by allowing the same controversial songs on a second official project.

And those who think that the fact they're only using one line from 50 Cents' rap means they think the vocals are fake : even if they're only using one second from the track, Cascio and Porte will still be credited and paid, just as they would be if the whole song were used.

Still, they purposely only use the rap, don't they? They don't use any of the fake vocals, do they? That's the real point. I don't care if 50's part is used. I actually like it. And I don't care if Cascio and Porte are paid a small amount more than they've already been paid from the Estate. It's not about that either.

In my opinion, Michael's spirit is present in a lot of these projects, especially this Cirque project and I think his spirit could have been around during This Is It, too, and during parts of making the Michael album.

These things aren't going to be perfect but I think it's significant that they didn't use any actual "MJ" vocals from the songs in question.

It doesn't make them less fake. If it's true that they use the tracks all it would show is that they don't care about MJ fans and nothing more.
