Thanks ivy. so you would say kjs lawyers are playing silly buggers interms of the filing the compell motion? serms they are just messing aeg around interms of asking for docs in one format than another.
I'm not saying it, AEG is saying it. We will know if the judge agrees with it or not.
But the truth is AEG has been producing a lot more documents than Katherine and it does seem to be impossible for them to identify the give the 222,499 pages all together once.

There was a request for media coverage when the trial starts. If the request is allowed, would these documents still be confidential or will they become public record then?
confidential means they can't be showed to other people and if it needs to be filed with the court it will be marked confidential and sealed from public. But if the trial happens and if it's shown in open court, they will become a public record.
As for the media I forgot to say that the request was only for June 22 hearing.
As for latter part, whats with that request for different forms, same pages in a different form? Don't they have a people there who can convert these same papers to different form, looks idiotic to me!
well AEG says before they started sending the documents they asked KJ's lawyers how they want them and they said paper copies. So AEG gives the first 5,000 pages as paper in hard copy format. Then they talk and ask if the paper format will be okay as there are substantial amount of pages, KJ's lawyers say send them in electronic format. AEG's lawyers send them in TIFF format which is widely used and acceptable format in discovery. Only in April - after 4 submissions- KJ's lawyers ask for PDF and the last 2 submission is done in PDF format.
Oh and also KJ's lawyers complain that the individual defendants, Phillips, Gongaware and Leiweke has not produced documents. AEG says that they do not have many documents in their individual capacity and most documents are in the possession of AEG and is sent from AEG. Still Gongaware produced 20,697 pages and Phillips produced 501 pages. Leiweke only 1 page.
Katherine's lawyer's got 222,499 pages from AEG, and AEG lawyers got 140 pages from Katherine!

When this case was filed, it was filed as Plaintiff's: Katherine Jackson, individually and as Guardian Ad Litem for MJ's kids(names)
I don't know s it important or not but she is not GAD for kids, Margaret Lodise is GAD. If it was purposely done like it is, would it affect on how the money is distributed (if they win the case) between plaintiffs, or could it be that if they win the case, Katherine would get the control of all the monies as she also is GAD for kids? If that is the case, there is nothing to stop her to distribute money to her "cubs".

only in Estate related matters. She's appointed by the Probate judge and her only duty is to make sure that MJ's kids rights and benefits are protected in regards to what Estate executors do.

Money amount will be determined by the judge / jury. Compensatory damages (actual losses) is determined by some logic , some calculation based on factual information (for example if 2 million is spent for funeral costs - which is proven by the receipts, money paid- can be determined to be an actual loss). Punitive damages are totally at jury's control and they can decide any number they want.
Any win would be divided among the plaintiffs - in this instance between Katherine and MJ's kids. As MJ's kids are minors their share can be put into a bank account until they are 18, or it could be put into a trust which is managed by a person - which would be generally their legal guardian (such as parents or who have their custody) - until they are 18.
