I'm not keen on mrs j's attorneys either - didn't they say to begin with that mrs j was furious about the anti-estate letter and was blindsided by it, and then it emerged that she had been completely incommunicado at her retreat. I don't believe their protestations that she's tip top and able to look after ppb, she just seems she's getting mentally frail. It's inconceivable that she could just leave 3 young children and not demand some type of contact with them whilst she's away - it's just negligent.

It'll be interesting who'll be made the scapegoat. Mrs j has never gone against her family, whilst her sons were getting beat in the early days or through all their madcap scheming, and to get out of her mess she's going to have to point fingers and make accusations.

Katherine Jackson is currently on her way back home to Calabasas from her vacation with family in Arizona.
The 82-year-old Jackson matriarch is aware of TJ Jackson's move to take over as temporary guardian of Michael's three kids ... Paris, Prince and Blanket.
We've learned Katherine Jackson spoke to TJ last night.

Our Jackson family source tells us exclusively that Mrs. Jackson said:
"I don't give my nephew TJ authority to become temporary guardian of the children. It's not going to happen."

So they are rushing Katherine back home in fear of losing her monthly allowance and access to it?

TJ is going ahead with his request for guardianship despite Katherine's impending return. I hope the reason Tito withdrew his support of the letter is because he realized the gravity of their mistake, and not because his son is seeking guardianship. I also hope TJ is not doing this out of motivation for money, but because he genuinely cares. Michael's kids trust him, and he better not disappoint them.

I have a hard time trusting anyone in the immediate family, and whether the kids remain with Katherine or go to TJ they are still at risk from further abuse/attacks by the family members that schemed this mess. Katherine will never refuse her children in the home even if restraining orders are issued. I have a feeling once Katherine gets back she will beg and plead with the kids to keep mum and just let it go for the sake of her children. In truth, whether she was an active participant in this plot or not, she is clearly not fit to be their guardian.

ETA: just read Katherine's statement refusing to giveup custody of kids to TJ. If that is the case, the kids' attorney better have a serious sit down with her and make it very clear that such behaviour on her part, whether voluntary or not, will not be tolerated again. She should be warned and conditions should be set aside on the conduct of her adult children towards Michael's children. They should also make her promise that she would never again compromise the safety of her grandchildren in support of her own children.

This is bat shit crazy. Katherine doesn't deserve guardianship IMO.

Yes for her to give an explanation that shows she is not negligent, she has to say someone else caused something. It will be interesting to see what she says. Of course she will say she left adults in the home, so the kids were supervised. However, the judge will want a full account, and I hope the children's lawyer does not become soft-hearted about Katherine but rather looks at this case very objectively indeed. The key here is safety and the social and emotional well-being for these children, and not weather we should return them to grandma because she is a nice old lady.

Oh so mrs j suddenly found a phone when her guardianship was under threat but not when paris was desperate for her to call. Honestly the hostility and total lack of concern from the randy plotters towards paris and prince is palpable - maybe they've started becoming interested in estate business and asking awquard questions.

Sorry Mrs. Jackson but TJ doesn't need your permission, the children need a guardian with whom they can depend on.

Your OWN chldren are to blame for this mess. If anything she should be addressing them for getting her into this mess.

I'd have thought that any approved guardian would have to demonstrate fitness for the role which (to me at least) would involve capability of independent rational thought and ability to take independent decisions and actions in the best interests of the children (unless the guardian was actually hospitalised/ physically unconscious).

I don't see any court of law being able to be convinced that what happened in the last 8-10 days was in any way in the best interests of those children.

At least we've got some kind of action going on, Katherine is returning to take control of her guardianship of her 3 grandchildren.

Whether it was planned for granny to get away to a lovely spa, innocently, the timing of the scathing letter to the Executor's is really questionable.

Is Tito guilty because of the timing of his son wanting temporary guardianship?

Was Katherine doing a silent protest because the Estate took her business partner to Court just the other day? And the Estate is making it difficult for Katherine to make a buck off her dead son's Estate to benefit her living cubs, was it the case why Katherine went on "vacation."?

I believe that Paris said the slapping/swearing story involving Janet wasn't true. Don't believe everything you read in the tabloids!

I think it's very interesting that TJ is going ahead with trying to get temporary guardianship, despite the fact that Katherine is on her way back. I doubt that he would cause trouble for his grandmother without a very good reason.

I know that ppb seem to be happy with mrs j as guardian but personally, enforced mini-breaks aside, i think mrs j has been really poor - getting them involved in the heal the world, global live, that dreadful howard mann contract, oprah, the dismal lundon bridge project. Paris on her public twitter account just seems to have no supervision or protection from the abuse she gets on it - and i love the irony that the family's lack of concern for her public profile backfired bigtime when she alerted the outside world to what was going on - then all of a sudden twitter was seen as a bad thing.
 
Allen Duke just gave an update on HLN. He said he is at the courthouse and a hearing is set to get underway. He said attorneys flew to meet with Katherine last night and were met by Randy and Janet. The attorney’s informed them of the seriousness of the situation and they were allowed to speak to Katherine by phone. Allen will have a full report on today’s proceedings later today.

Lol randy is scared now Katherine will lose mj children's allowance, the huge sum of the estate monthly pay. I don't trust any of the Jacksons and I hope TJ is the exceptional and he genuinely cares Michael's children. But his father tito suddently 180 change after his son filed for tempotary guardianship of ppb made me suspicious. The best is always Diana Ross, Michael appointed and trusted for his children. Too bad it's never gonna happen.

There you have it. You see how Mother does not understand a lot of things? She in a way is like Janet, and the signers who did not understand they have no legal standing to contest the will, manage the estate, or tell people to resign.

This is now going to be a war between mother and TJ.

And since I'm here on MJJC instead of doing my job, I'm going to send her an invoice for unemployment pay, which I'm surely going to need soon.

In fact, all MJ fans should get together and file a class action suit for all this emotional stress she's caused us for Michael's children.

Don't lose your job man. I know works pretty boring at time (for me it is atleast) but you know Ive just been getting into this Jackson Drama......its all happening so fast. I dont think Katherine will be able to take care of the kids now

I don't know anything about TJ, but I will say one thing. The fact that he is willing to go up against his grandmother (and various other fractions of the family) speaks volumes, in my opinion.

To be honest, when it was reported that she is on her way home, I "figured" he would stand down, but apparently he is forging ahead.

I guess the seriousness of this matter outweighs what his family, including his grandmother, thinks of his actions.

Paris did the right thing, twittering about the situation. She didn't care about her Aunt's and Uncle's having problems with the Estate Executor.

All that mattered was her Grandma's health and well-being!

That news report about a biz associate informing police that mrs j was being financially abused by family back in april was interesting. I wonder if mrs j was wanting to drop the aeg lawsuit and randy etc were forcing her to carry on.

The kids' preference will also come into play. I wonder what they will say, if it comes to that? Despite everything that has happened, they still love their grandma and I doubt they will have the heart to leave her :(

Sorry Katherine (uh Randy/Janet), the court gets to make the final decision in the best interests of the kids. They don't consider the brokeness of uncles and aunts depending on the kids' money...

Isnt this only a temporary soloution? Maybe the guardianship will be transfered back to Katherine.

Katherine's lawyer, Perry Sanders, tells TMZ, "This is a very tense time when of course we don't feel Mrs. Jackson should be removed as guardian and we would vigorously oppose that on anything other than an extremely short-term basis, until she returns home."

We're also told Katherine had high blood pressure before she skipped L.A., and the spa visit did her good. But TJ doesn't think it did the kids any good

Katherine will still get her own stipend reguardless. I would prefer T.J have the guardianship and they can have grandma live with them :) that way she will be protected from having her cubs kidnap her and badger her for MO mony and they wont push her to go to work with mann and the likes of him.. she wont be burdeed with making all those business decisions and can live her life out in peace. I think that would be a lovely solution
