Who cares? It's not even released yet, no single,nothing. I'm obviously a huge fan, I'm not buying until release day. Not a big deal, it will be #1 worldwide it's Michael Jackson! Geez.

Not that I'm in love with the Xscape cover or anything, but looking at this atrocity I think we can be thankful that it turned out the way it did. That Prince cover is pretty bad. And I love Prince.

3 - 5 = -2
-2 + 2 = 0

as easy as 1, 2, 3

(Thus 3 passengers were in the bus in total. However, somehow 5 passengers got out of the bus, which means that minus 2 passengers remained. Which ultimately means that 2 passengers had to get on the bus to make it zero passengers. It's all the logic of the negative numbers.)

If we're stretching the definition of sampling, sure. Fact of the matter is that the verse was lifted in its entirety and placed over his own music. Doesn't change the point.

Nah I started remixing the song, and noticed no notes fit it. I pitch shifted it down 50 cents/ half a semitone and it worked, and sounds alot more natural. The HIStory album CD is something like 73 mins 44 seconds long? Speeding up TJ took around 11 to 12 second off its overall time, so was probably to make sure the album fit on CD.

:wtf2 INDEED and also for Prince's cover!
I must admit the design for Xscape turned out to be better than what the designer did with Prince. I love his piercing eyes, the best thing of the cover but I already said why he blew it. Dangerous is an intriguing work of art but this one failed miserably.

There's a link on youtube with songs from the album. Not sure if it's the full album. Probably not. It's only 25 minutes, but the songs are definitely from the album.

I really doubt it has leaked. - But since youtube links are allowed why don't you post the link? - or the name of the account who has uploaded it?

ALSO - how can you even be unsure if it's the entire album?? - 8 songs x 4 mins = 32 mins - And I think some song will be longer so 40 mins is more likely, but never could an album be only 25 minutes???

Mind is the magic is not on the new album. - This is very obviously not the true album. - fan made. - It's just the versions that have been leaked for years...

ALSO - listen to STTR and compare it to the Xperia commercials - it's not at ALL the same.

The versions in the link you've posted is just the leaked versions we have had for many many years...

But some of the songs are the on the album. I compared the lyrics posted on the other thread. It's so usual these days for albums to leak on the web, so when something is posted we tend to believe. Anyway, I asked a few pages back if it was real. And someone said it here the album leaked.

The songs from that 25 minutes video are not new at all. - That's not the new versions.

The album has NOT leaked yet.

I don't understand why Sony is allowing this on youtube.

Can we somehow report these scammers to Sony so they can close their youtube channels? Maybe we fans can do it when they don't care or are too lazy to do it.

I hope everyone can find something enjoyable from this album. I also hope non fans can enjoy it too. I know with Michael gone it will never be the same but I am still hoping that they will play music from this album on the radio with all the artists today. That feeling we get when we listen and all of sudden it comes on and people enjoying it. I miss that. We didn't get that last time and I hope it will be different this time.

As for the album cover, I just want to say it is growing on me lol. I do like that it represents Michael more currently then a photo from the 1980s. Nothing wrong with those pictures but it should represent what Michael would be now.

What's the problem with sampling? In the case of Unbreakable MJ used just a verse of Biggies, simply copy & pasted from Shaq O'Neils "cant stop the reign".

Same with Rihannas "Dont stop the music" where a part of WBSS is used. Would you call her song an altered version of WBSS?

regarding Unbreakable, it's more interesting that the song itself is actually a rebuild version of Biggies "Unbelievable"

Why the official MJ webpage www.michaeljackson.com is not totally changed and dedicated to the new album is beyond me!!

They have put a pop-up on the page so you can hear the teaser - but not order the album...

They have to make an ALL NEW webpage dedicated to Xscape - and make it possible to pre-order.

In the MJ Store you can't even buy/pre-order the album yet. - Only BAD25 and Michael. - I mean WTF ?? - I know it is still in the early stages - BUT the second they announced the album it should have been made available on his official website!!

I really hope they relaunce mj.com soon with all new design and much more Xscape - t-shirts, album, vinyl etc. etc.
