I use to hate Leave Me Alone and In The Closet. ? My sister kept telling me to listen to them and then I eventually liked it. What about you guys?

I've never hated a single song from MJ.

I don't like 'Girlfriend' very much. I think it's schmaltzy & a little boring.
The same goes for YANA (which I liked at the time of it's release, but now it's overplayed on radio) & Cry to some degree. Though R.Kelly remix of YANA i can enjoy if the mood is right.

As you all know those are all songs MJ did not write by himself.

I didn't hate Black or White, I just didn't quite like it so much. But when the outtakes of the behind the scenes were leaked, I totally changed my opinion. :D

When I first heard Blood on the Dance Floor, I really didn't like it. I can't define why, but it irritated me. Then, as I listened to it more times, I started to like it, each time more and more. I still don't LOVE it but I enjoy listening and dancing to it.

They Don't Care About Us (eh I'm still indifferent about this one. It's never been a fave. I tend to skip it a lot..)
Jam
Remember The Time

Like many MJ fans, when I was younger I only really paid attention to MJ's Epic solo albums and the only Jacksons album I liked was Triumph (probably because its the Jacksons album which sounds most similar to MJ's solo work).

As I've gotten older, I've come to really appreciate the Jacksons entire back catalogue and especially those early Motown solo albums like Forever Michael. I challenge any self-respecting MJ fan to listen to You Are There or To Make My Father Proud and not fall in love with MJ all over again.

"You Are There" is one of my favourite songs and "Forever Michael" one of my favourite albums. I also like all The Jacksons albums.

Answer to the question: "In the Closet"

Don't judge me for being dumb as a 5-year old, buuuut...
When I was little my mom used to play Jackson 5 in the car, and I thought it was stupid and Michael sounded like a girl. Especially I Want You Back.
Now, I Want You Back is one of my favorite songs ever.

For me I never really hated any of Michael's songs. I used to like all of them. But now the songs that I used to love I just plainly hate now. Like Man In The Mirror that song was one of my all time favorite songs from him. Now I really hate the song because it is such a huge horrible reminder. Of that horrible July day of that horrible nameless year. And then there is Jam. One of my most favorite songs of his. As well as one my most played MJ songs and videos of his. I now really hate the song. Because it makes me remember that horrible June day of that nameless year. When I had gotten the worst news ever about him.:( :boohoo

Aww, you poor thing... I can't relate as much as you do because I am a younger fan and I didn't know who MJ really was at the time. I didn't even really know much about him until the middle of last year... I can, however, relate to your sentiment with others I know. :(

Well I love pretty much all mj's songs though it took me some time to connected to him
I wasn't instantly love him infanct but eventually I realized how awesome and brilliant his songs
are and you know today I am truly appreciate his artistry
But I remember that I didn't instantly liked him

I relate! I didn't instantly like him but now I wouldn't think about not liking him.

And also, I should listen to Cry, I've heard it before but it has been a bit of a while

Anything from History.
When I first became a MJ fan, I was in love with the Thriller/Bad era music.
Then as I got older, I love the songs on History.
I think they were more relatable , and Michael was writing about the problems of the world, and the feelings that most ordinary people have.
