I was just about ask about USA sales. I saw that trash from Billboard yesterday but I did not bring up until I saw what was on today. CNN had it on their site yesterday.

For Fox removing the Barb espisole was stupid and hypocrisy. I already had it on tape I recorded it when it first came out along with the Bart Man song.

Btw Norways rating of the show was a flop.

It was aired around 22.30 pm 3 hour edited version with aprox 100K viewers.

Online streaming first day was 80K for part 1 and around 40k for part 2. Overall around 200K for first day. Population is around 6million.

Popular Friday/saturday night talk shows get around 1 million views.. So yeah. It basically flopped. lol

That will be very interesting. Tyler had his shows running on the OWN Network, but I think I heard he's cutting ties with the network (that's what I heard, so don't take my word for it). Plus, Janet was on three of Tyler's films. I was planning to go see the final Madea movie, but something prevented me from doing it, and I think this might be the reason.
 
That article from El Pais was interesting. They basically talk about the public lynching that goes on nowadays (in the case of Michael Jackson and others), in the era of social media, with everything and everybody, but especially famous people (some of them accused without any tangible proof, some already found not guilty in a court of law, some accused with proof, but not yet convicted).
They think, in any case, the artist should be separated from the work of art. The work of art doesn't have anything to do with what goes on in the private life of the artist (they give Charles Dickens as example - apparently, he locked his wife up in a mental asylum in order for him to have an affair with a young girl; Beethoven, who was also a bad man with a grudge against his sister in law).

That's it.In defending Michael online,I had someone contact me to say they were a victim of sexual abuse and their stories mirrored his experience.

I replied by saying they are simply stating what is widely known about predators and how they groom.
They're not giving any facts but are instead going for the shock value with sordid sex stories that are bound to gather sympathy.

Edit: I really hope Wikileaks get involved and start pulling this apart.

I replied by saying they are simply stating what is widely known about predators and how they groom.
They're not giving any facts but are instead going for the shock value with sordid sex stories that are bound to gather sympathy.

Great observation and well articulated answer to why and how they can be seen as credible without actually being real.


On a side note: I've been reading twitter comments and noticed something interesting. You know what's the most common argument of those who thinks MJ's guilty - guess what: "but he admitted sleeping with boys". Which is hardly anything new, still that's the ultimate evidence, despite the fact that there's a "very powerful" new documentary out there with graphic details (actual horrid criminal acts vs questionable sleeping habits).

Which makes me question how many of them saw the documentary/are aware of the details actually. The goal of this propaganda wasn't even to tell a one-sided biased story, it was only to trend again the "MJ is a monster" angle to the public (for that people don't even have to watch the documentary, just rehash tabloid gossip mix they vaguely remember - so sadly, it's working).

But how dumb is that these people believing in MJ's guilt accept the "sleeping with children" argument as the ultimate proof - certainly they must demand much more damaging evidence if they think MJ really is this horrible monster the media portrays him to be.
 
Silverston - that's what's annoying to me.. People are so taken back by the fact what they are explaining what 'happened' fits the details of when someone was groomed by a pedophile.. WELL that's the whole point? If they did not fit the narrative what would be in the doc? NOTHING! that's what they have to lean on otherwise that 4 hour doc would be 1 hour (How they met him and the positive experience they had).

And why is it so surprising that it fits the narrative when those individuals know the narrative. Why would "they" know it fits the narrative but Wade and James would only know IF they were molested? 10% of people were molested as kids, we all have family members (or personally) have dealt with it.. Mind you their website DID state his wife was an abuse survivor.

And I'll just say this, if ANYONE planned for 7/8 years (2012-2019) on a story with MILLIONS on the line, they would watch multiple documentaries, study pedophilia, read books and learn as much as possible to understand the mind set of an abuse victim and fit it into the story..

it's NOT that hard!! Especially when that person has been under attack for those type of crimes for decades.
 
Does anyone have that image of Michael's warning to Dee Dee about paedophiles handy?
