Controversial MJ Documentary Leaving Neverland [GENERAL DISCUSSION THREAD]

Wiki says June 1989.

Ok .... the geman wikipedia has the dates then wrong and Michael recorded the album for over two years?

https://de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dangerous_(Album)

I thought his record company wanted in 1989 that MJ should bring out a best of album and not record a album with new songs...
But then he directly started to recorded the dangerous album in mid 1989?

Where is the love for Ziegler? He was setting up and interviewing Charles Thomson and not even 300 re-tweets? COME ON!

I agree. John Ziegler deserves a LOT more credit than he is receiving.

The initial plan was to record a couple of new songs to add on to a greatest hits package, but it was then decided to just record an album of all new material instead.

Ok Michael is really a genious when could recover so fastly from ardous Bad tour finished in January 1989, arranged the move to neverland, wrote so fastly so many new songs ( he said they had arround 40 songs for every album) to start the sessins so early.
My respect!

Wikipedia says that the 2300 Jackson street video was filmed in March 1989.

Michael wears exectly the same outfit with the same black trowsers and looks nearly absolutly identical from his hairstyle/hairlength compare to the footage in LN when the Robsons should have met Michael the first time after the Bad Tour.

According to this Rolling Stones article, producer Bill Bottrell states after producing the first steps of the song Black or White in the BAD album session, the song was resumed into production in August 1989, concerning when Dangerous album was recorded:

According to Bottrell, “Black or White” developed from something originally recorded for Bad. “That piece of music, the beginning part that Slash plays on, was first recorded at Michael’s house,” Bottrell says. “Michael asked me to dig it out of the vault in August of 1989. He had in mind to use it as the intro to ‘Black or White.’ It took a long time before we got Slash on it.”

Ok but it can still be possible that the Robsons met Michael in 1989 in Record sudio One.
When it was in May 1989 before the recordings really begun it would be a good explainations why MJ had so much time for the Robsons.
In 1990 during the sessions it is not really understanable.
I sadly can't find Joy Robsons testimony from 2005.

There are a few studios mention in the Dangerous Album wikpedia article.
If would be interesting to find out if they recorded in January 1990 in RECORD STUDIO ONE or somewhere else.

I mean MJ was a worker holic who worked day and night during album recordings and had a bed in the studio.
Spending suddenly out of them blue so much time with the Robsons he doesn't really know during the sessions is not really logical.

When I compare the videofootage with Wade from his meeting and dancing with Michael in November 1988 to the photos with MJ in smoth criminal outfit I can't not see so much age difference from wade.

Here is Joy Robsons 2005 testimony, I uploaded it for you:

Chantal Robsons full testimony comes directly after in the same document btw.

Yeah I ended up watching it. It was decent indeed. I do wonder how accurate it is. Especially that part with Randy crashing the gate of MJ's first home in the film. It just seemed...out there, lol. And was that Wonderland stuff really true? That was going to be their next real home?

At the end of the day it's just a film, a biopic, I'm sure there's fiction in there. Like MJ being rather fond of that My Prerogative song. Sure, it's possible he really liked it, but for some reason I kinda doubt it too. And how he totally went crazy at that security camera inside the pool, maybe that did happen, but I couldn't take the over-acting seriously there.

I remember the bodyguards mentioning the Randy thing and the pool security camera story in an interview from WAY back when they first announced the book. No idea about the Wonderland thing (I still haven't read the book... >.>) but yeah, one has to wonder how accurate some of it is. Still a better movie than that Man in the Mirror one, IMO.

Yeah. I had the same with All eyez on me about 2Pac.

As for this movie. I always thought it was some made up story by the media that Michael was in debt big-time and that he was basically forced to do This is it. But the movie seems to bring that quite factually.

Also near the end where Bill talks about the memorial where all these "friends" spoke, but where were they in his last years he wondered. Same with the Liz Taylor thing, i have a hard time believing after that Randy part that MJ never saw Liz again.

I trade with MJ name when I want, when LN was released I became mute. Who I'm ?
Yes I'm Prince/ Paris Jackson.

Reported. Please stop trolling this thread constantly with your disrespectful opinion. It’s not even on-topic.

Always take wikipedia as a source of fairly accurate but with unchecked mistakes. While they are much better now there was a time where it was very easy to edit any page... anyone could hit 'edit' and change whatever they wanted..

There are plenty mistakes and should never be taken as 100% fact.. just more so "more likely" accurate.. think of it as an educated friend that doesnt know it all and would give an answer even if he/she doesnt really know.

I always found wiki impossible to correct over the long term, so I gave up years ago.

Often any accurate changes submitted to the page will be either rejected completely or quickly over written by counter changes approved by a consensus of clueless individuals citing nonsense tabloid reports.

Since Wiki first opened its pages it has been of limited educational value. It's slightly better these days but with controversial people like MJ it's hit and miss.

What a bunch of rubbish, really...sighs...

? James is sooo tall here and MJ should have still abused him. He looks simular to the LN birthday footage

- Wade and James said in one of the interviews that they also met each other as children in Neverland when other children were present at a party
- Michael met Brett Barnes also on the Bad tour were he met Wade and spend time with James
- Michael spend much time with Mac and was already big friends with him in 1990 when he befriended Wade what the Michael Jackson Private Home Movies showed

THIS NAMBLA FICTION MOVIE IS TOTAL BULLSHIT!

Good. i loved reading this because . If ETSY was the place for was where the ring was brought , all that ring wedding fairy tail bullshit ..This would make this story even more credible because sellers are now aware of one mans actions and evil intent and wont make anything for or against for fear of that ring story. If true , someone needs to find the maker of the ring so they may press charges if they wished to do so.
and " It "would go to prison:) One man down.

Michael was constantly in contact with Bretts Family since 1987 when MJ was in Australia and recieved a letter from Brett.... and they first met him in Neverland in Dezember 1991.

What they tried not to mention is that Michael spend much time with Ryan White during his first years with James.

also Ryan White was dying.. he was dying guys. So i hope none of those two inhumane terrifying men fought for michaels time.. Oh how awful is that. Seriously , I could seriously imagen robson or the " it " getting angry,I could see safechuck quietly shunning michael because michael was simply spending time with his dying friend. Unfortunatley i would conclude that is how Robsons entitled dirty mindset would think also.

Yeah... Ryan White died on April 8 1990
So when the Joy and Wade came back to the the USA in May 1990 for their second trip for the LA Gear Commercial Michael still have to be very said to have lost his friend, but in the NAMBLA movie he was able to molest Wade every day.....

See its all about wade.. see? Even from the songs he chose when working with nysnc it was all, me- me- me. ...just pretty much everything - doesnt matter who he hurts or what the situation is , I would say that the mother would have installed that mindset to her child . I feel robson would have completely disregarded any of michael feelings at any point of their friendship if it wasnt all about him and what he could get out of michael and that michael only be with him -regardless if Ryan, (or any other child michael was trying to help ) was dying or not. Ruthless behaviour.

Having the story about the bodyguards saying it confirmed what James was saying. SO why is Eubweb posting that nonsense. Didn't Bill Whitfield denounced this story.
