Even tho' I have my fave pics bookmarked (old school, lol) I fully intend to regularly bump my faves here. Just putting that out there. I don't want to annoy anyone or clog up the thread but this is going to happen, girls. It just is.

The Patient was able to complete a shopping trip to the supermarket today. She did display a tendency to giggle at unexpected moments; also to stand in the middle of the aisle, staring into the middle distance. However, these tendencies were dealt a sharp blow by the application of crappy supermarket music being played on the crappy supermarket radio. She was brought back down to earth so fast she thinks she might have whiplash. Minor injuries are being treated as we speak.

The Patient is fully aware that today is Monday and that Wales is a country and therefore is fully distinct and separate from the sea mammal known as a whale. Further explorations into the use and meaning of the word 'wail' were felt to be unhelpful and unnecessary at this time.

The Patient continues to experience an elevated heart rate; this is being closely monitored. The Patient has been advised to avoid anything at all which might cause any form of excitement. There are indications that The Patient is blatantly ignoring this advice. The team has no idea how to deal with this and would like to resign, en masse.

There is an ancillary report from the physiotherapist who is treating The Patient for a slightly sprained shoulder. The injury was sustained as The Patient attempted to execute a complicated dance move. The Patient accepts that she is physically incapable of executing any sort of dance move and should cease and desist. The physiotherapist advised The Patient to take up speed walking. The Patient rejected this advice and insisted that she be allowed to, 'let it simmer, let it bathe in the moonlight'. The physiotherapist has no idea what this means.

The sexiest thing I have ever seen in my life was Alice Cooper on TOTP in 1972 doing School's Out. Black clothes, black eyeliner, black hair. Wielding his sword - no, that is not a euphemism. He really did have a sword (well, a stage prop). The bit at the end, where he lets go of the girl's hair and launches himself at the camera. Nothing, I tell you, NOTHING has ever come close. I don't think I ever truly recovered, lol.

My guys are the visual equivalent of Bob Dylan's voice. So Johnny Rotten, for example. Did he look like a skinny, under-nourished, pasty-faced weasel? Yes, he did. But sex appeal? OMG. Jean-Jacques Burnel - dirty bass lines, black biker jacket, come-to-bed eyes. OMG.

The most beautiful guy I have EVER seen is Adam. But I never fancied him. Too beautiful and therefore intimidating. That's Michael, as well, I think. Michael escorting Madge to the Oscars. It's simply not possible to fancy him, not for me. I can gaze in wonder and awe and even excitement but that's it. He's just too far beyond.

Yes, it's complicated because Michael is hot as in red hot. And we all know there is something going on at the moment with the infamous photo. I'm not making this up, I have been losing it this past week like I don't know what. This reaction, it's definitely happening. In a way, I wish it wasn't. Cos it is flaming well inconvenient. Anyway, I don't fancy him but there is also some weird s&*# going on at the moment. I can carry two competing ideas in my head and believe them both. So that's where I am with this.

I did check out some clips where I could see Michael Jr and I was just like, 'oh, I see what's going on'. And that was it. Everything else Michael does is way sexier than anything going on below the belt. I'm not disapproving of anyone getting excited. I'm just saying, I don't. I might be wrong, I've never tried to work it out because, of course, I just accept it for what it is. I don't fret over it so I don't try to analyse it. But I can watch Michael perform live and be quite, 'oh OK, whatever', whereas my response to him on record or in a video is off the chart. I very much appreciate you thinking of me, but of course I have to reply. I'll try to make it short though as to not clog the thread LOL

I just want to say that I *completely* get it. Michael is NOT the type I have ever gone for in my entire life. Ever. Most of the reason for that is because of your #2 point which is that he is SO beautiful. He is the only man I've really ever described as beautiful, also. He is gloriously beautiful, shimmering and brilliant in his presentation. I can *absolutely* understand why that is not necessarily "attractive" to you. You can still *appreciate* his beauty, I imagine (which I'm guessing is what you enjoy about this thread haha) but it's not necessarily attracting you in a romantic/sexual way? That makes sense to me.

For whatever reason, Michael has flipped that switch for me. I find him both exquisitely and almost painfully beautiful, while also finding him extremely sexually attractive lol. However, there are time periods (I'm thinking mid-90s) where he often is too beautiful for me and I admire his beauty, but don't necessarily feel the same attraction. So I think that's why I get it.

Also, I want to add that the below-the-belt action as I call it is wildly exciting to me, but not simply in an aesthetic way. Yes, I love the way it looks lol but it's mostly that it puts me in the mindset of imagining who he was as a *man* not performing, intimate in private, full of energy and aliveness in a private way I'll never have access to...it draws me in further. But I absolutely love looking at all parts of him and admiring the way he moves and exists within himself. His charisma is second to none, in my book. No other celebrity or public figure has ever captivated me like he does. It's fun to indulge in the explicitly sexual side of why that is, but it's way too minimizing to focus on that exclusively.

Oh and it doesn't sound crazy to me at all that you want to keep some of your thoughts for yourself. I really do understand that. My attachment to Michael is primarily emotional and it goes very deep in such a way that makes me question my own sanity, to be completely honest. So part of wanting to keep it to myself is not understanding what this intense emotional connection I feel toward him actually says about me. You know?

Anyway, this was not as short as I meant it to be. But I wanted to reply because your answer was so thoughtful and interesting!

Just on this point, for me also its the dancing that comes first. Though I think the live concerts really bring out his best dancing, especially for the songs that don't have short films. Even when he does the same moves as in short films, the on stage spontaneity takes it to a different level. I keep rewatching the concerts because I always find a new step, or a new movement that I had not noticed before, and of course the mess ups sometimes , so just saying, maybe you will find that interesting too.

Both in physical appearance, but more so in his perfectionism (which I worship in real life), creativity, on stage confidence, off stage shyness and empathy for the world. I'm not sure why I even tried to answer sw23's questions. They are really, really good questions but Michael messes with my brain so much I can't even think straight. Which I'm perfectly fine with but it can make communicating a bit challenging, lol.

I'm not too worried about the live thing. If I never get to love it there is still so much for me. But it could just be something that will take time. Like the whole OTW thing for me is evolving but *incredibly* slowly. Again, I'm fine with that. It can take as long as it likes. I don't feel obliged to love everything Michael did (and I don't) but, equally, there is stuff where it's just going to take a bit longer. Which, if you think about it, is kind of cool. Knowing that there might be things for me to discover or newly appreciate, gotta be happy with that. The infamous MM90 photo was instant (and ongoing) madness but other stuff is on a different timetable. And I love that.

I'm fascinated that you worship Michael's perfectionism. I'm gonna think about that.

I am so glad you mentioned all of this because in answering the thread earlier, I didn't even touch upon his personality and how much that impacts my attraction to him. I have said this (somewhat jokingly, but mostly seriously) several times before but I *legitimately* feel that if I had discovered Michael earlier in my life, I would have had significantly higher standards for men and would have been much happier. For example, being raised around toxic masculinity my whole life, I don't think I ever knew it was possible men could be kind, gentle, loving, supportive, sensitive, giving, generous, etc. There are so few famous men who represent those qualities and, in my life, very few (until my husband) who do as well. Though I don't regret anything about how my life turned out, because I'm where I am today, and I've learned a lot (blah blah blah lol) I genuinely believe that had Michael touched my life at a younger age, I would have held out for someone with more of his qualities and potentially avoided a lot of abuse and trauma.

In short, he is just a beautiful soul who inspires me on a daily basis to be better and grow. He also happens to electrify every part of me and in every way (both relevant and less relevant to the manhood thread lol) and that's just an added bonus

The team discourages speculation about the prognosis for The Patient. Mostly because they are still trying to decide whether to resign. Some members of the team are quite keen to hang on because they have already paid for their ticket for the staff Summer Party and do not wish to lose their deposit. And the food is usually quite good.

Rumours are circulating that The Patient might have gone AWOL. The team are finding it hard to care.
