I am glad that you agree with me on this! I am uncomfortable with how disconnected she seems. I find in general though I am uncomfortable with the detached way we talk about tragedy, at least in American culture. Idk if it's even a cultural thing, or not, but I just am generally troubled by people's lack of emotional openness lol. So it bothers me with this. Especially since the woman literally lived out the fantasies of about a billion women by having private time with Michael Jackson. She should at least show she feels something. That's my takeaway at least.

Every day I understand more and more why Tatiana kissed him on stage one week into the Bad tour and then proceeded to spend the rest of her life insanely obsessed with him. This is what I meant when I talked about how Bad era Michael would leave me institutionalized lol. There is simply no way I could be around him and hold onto a single shred of dignity*
*as always, I hope that in reality I’d be the charming leading lady of his life (ha!) but considering I’m madly in love with him based on 30 year old film, I just don’t have any faith I’d manage in real life at all. The poor man probably had no idea why women were constantly falling in love with him. Idk how the woman in this scene above even remained upright. Sigh. I’m too weak.

As far as I understand, it was only released on CDs in the first printing and then after that he took it off because he felt embarrassed by it. Or shy about it. Because of course he was. Because he was just that painfully adorable.

45 MINUTES OF BAD WEMBLEY!!
Ladies... for real. I cannot believe that was only 43 minutes. I feel emotionally and physically exhausted lol. I am sorry that I am so insane. I felt like I was going to physically explode, or pass out. That is not even an exaggeration. I haven't even moved since we logged off. I am just sitting here breathless lol. I don't know where to go from here. That is the furthest I've ever gotten with any Bad tour footage, straight through, and I am proud of myself for surviving but shocked at how difficult it was lol.
Anyway, thank you for such a great time! It was an absolute blast! I just hope I wasn't too ridiculous. I never want my extreme reactions to venture over into annoying. No one gave me that impression or anything, but I feel like I"m legit just seeing stars when I watch him and I don't even know wtf comes out of my mouth lol...or, eh...keyboard.

Just woke up from a groggy sleep - the heat and humidity is just horrible and I conked out. Now I feel hot and irritable and disorientated. So naturally I came onto the board to get my bearings back. As you do!
I was listening to disco music earlier (IKR!) but now feel I must get back to life, back to reality. Back to Michael.

I just posted it in the "favorite videos" thread! Some of them I had seen before, but a number of clips I hadn't!
I have calmed down (a little bit) thank God lol. I was absolutely out of my mind earlier though... 2 fans, an entire bottle of water, and a pillow to scream into were not enough lol.
I'm so sorry it's been so dreadfully hot today! I get completely miserable in the heat, so I understand. I assume it's nightime there now, so I hope it cools down a bit!!

God, I wish. It's doing that awful thing where the humidity gets even worse at night. I feel seriously insane.
Anyway. In between the disco music I've been thinking a lot about Triumph. Not watching, just thinking about it. Which is its own thing and just as enjoyable as watching it for real. Watched a couple of interview clips, one with Marlon, one with Marlon and Tito.
I can so relate to this. If I'm watching a gig online - say, Cyndi in Paris - I'll never watch the whole thing or even half of it. It's just not how I watch a gig. It's always just a few songs at a time. So when I do that with a Michael gig / Jacksons gig, no difference, huh? But that's the thing. It is different. I don't know how to explain it but when I watch a few songs from Michael or Michael and the brothers it's not my usual gig-watching thing. It's definitely because it's all too much for my system.
