Let's end the confusion about MJ's unreleased tracks here

Bassouille"Michael Jackson
Bruce Swedien
  • Written and recorded in 1994
  • Failed to make the HIStory album
  • A fully complete version is known to exist
  • Also known as "Basszouille

Is the Chicago 1945 HQ leak real? It has this weird effect on the vocals that makes it sound like it was restored with AI. The instrumental sounds clean though.

There seem to be elements in this leak that cannot be heard anywhere else, so yes, it is real.
Yeah, I found a version on YT without the weird voice effect and I'm convinced it's real. Interesting how MJ actually says "Chicago we love you" instead of "Chicago I love you" lol.

Yep, and im willing to bet Dream Away and that other track someone saw the name of (I think it was Shut Up and Dance) will leak sadly, possibly others like Streetwalker and Throwing Your Life Away, welp there goes the next album :/

Hate to be the devil's advocate here, but the Estate hasn't had a problem with releasing stuff that's leaked before. Xscape was largely made up of tracks that had already leaked, with Thriller 40 continuing the tradition.

I doubt any track from Invincible is going to surface as Brad didn't work with MJ after HIStory.

The Estate doesn't care about leaks, almost all the songs on Xscape were songs that leaked beforehand.
When does he say that?
At the 2:54 mark.

True actually, but I think what i meant was there will be less hype

I always feel bad for producers when their stuff gets stolen and then leaked online but man, it would be amazing if TYLA, Boots Groove and the 1986/1987 version of Chicago 1945 leaked
The only songs I would listen to if they leaked HQ would be Streetwalker 86 and 87, TYLA and C1945, but golly, C1945 sounds like a Bad song but with Thriller vocals, absolutely amazing

Willing And Waiting in HQ would also be a good one. Tbf though I'm more thrilled at the idea of something that was never heard in the seminars be leaked, whether that is a title we're familiar with or an entirely unheard one.

Willing or Waiting to me is okay, I love Streetwalker and TYLA

What could leak from this theft? So far, we got Chicago 1945. There’s also Streetwalker demos, a demo of Black or White, a writer’s demo of Willing and Waiting, Faces, Jane is a Groupie, Someone Put Your Hand Down, and Boots Groove. Anything I’m forgetting?

Well...

  • Ghost of Another Lover
  • The un-sped up versions of the dance tracks on Michael Jackson's "Bad" album
  • The recording of Michael and Bottrell doing "Give In To Me"
  • The second version of "Someone Put Your Hand Out" that's different from both the early version and the released version
  • Possibly the full multitracks of certain songs from Michael's repertoire
  • Shut Up And Dance, possibly
  • A demo of "I Can't Help It," which may or may not be the leaked demo multitrack
  • Studio version of the Bad-era demo for "Earth Song" as well as the studio mix for TWYMMF's slow intro performed at the Grammys
  • Demoes for "Heal the World" and "Jam"
  • A different take of "For All Time," as well as a writer's demo for it.
  • Family Thing and Men In Black

It's not tied up to just contents that were shown in the seminars, the person with the laptop has everything Brad had. Anything from Bad-HIStory can leak.

Throwing your life away, dream away, Tomboy, Crack Kills, Make or Break, and many many more, I don’t tho I that many will be leaked since Brad didn’t specify if his own laptop was stolen or one of his

I always forget that Brad also did multitrack mixes and had video material. My mind always stuck to the unreleased tracks. Jesus.
